  1. Yea, I checked that first. Mid night around 70 then mid morning temps in the mid 70's before the heat is cracker jacked.
  2. Actually highs would be earlier in the day....but yes mid day temps around 60 and not moving up front there.
  3. Was worried that lack of 12Z GFS chatter meant the heat was trying to slip back in but then saw this mid day super front passage FTW. More firewood. Take that Astro Summer.
  4. LOL. It will be a salute to Canderson as he is flying over and out to the Texas frying pan.. Two gun salute.
  5. If you look at the shaded 2M maps it really does show a big difference between western LSV and eastern as to this AM. 3-5 degrees.
  6. Well during the lull I guess anything can be interesting. HRRR says MDT just misses 40's tonight. Will be a slam dunk for colder locations though. I expect 45-47ish here. It is still only 61 right now here with full sun at 9:30.
  7. EC grazes the southern part of the LSV with the trop moisture but the N/W side is shaved off due to the influence of a much stronger SLP in S/E Canada (with snow!). So one jog south and we are dry for the next 10 days on the EC.
  8. 51 here this AM. Had the fan blowing air in last night and it got so cold in the house, the heat came on.
  9. @Cashtown_Coop may have scored a bit this evening.
  10. Spring has resprung. Mdt enjoy your 40's Thursday AM.
  11. NO doubt a heat wave does not mean precip but we know low DP's will certainly limit it. Maybe the TS possibility makes it moot.
  12. Only catch is that it potentially would be dry just due to the nature of the situation. Low DP's mean less chance of afternoon convection so relying upon frontal rains
  13. The 6Z was just so "anti heat wave" though. Jns2183 said no 90 through June 29th and its actually no 80 as to graphics. . MDT does not hit 80 once on the 18Z maps. Would surely creep into the low 80's a couple days later but fairly amazing not seeing one 80 for two weeks.
  14. They may need to play the mercy rule thing and punt some when they are up by 30+. Make the game interesting for TV.
  15. Beautiful 57 out this AM. Unfortunate we did not get the heavier rain yesterday as a dry spell looks to be upon us. Maybe a few lucky souls today.
  16. Just north of Harrisburg is in line for a lot of rain.
  17. That is pretty gung ho. Over 1" in storms I guess.
  18. Hrrr, Nam and CMC have a weak slp slipping under us tomorrow evening. Really fires things up tomorrow evening.
  19. The really heavy stuff did go to our west and over Hagerstown. I seem some 1" estimates. I was down there when it hit and road flooding was pretty bad for a short while as it all came down in 15 min. The radar estimated total here is .21" but my gauge was between .3 and .4. I was not here to see it actually fall.
  20. We got about 1/3 to 1/2" with that first round that just passed by in the last couple hours. Bet any big rains are east of me this afternoon...which is just fine. I have had my fill the last 3 days.
  21. Some areas of Lancaster county got in excess of 5" last week. You were just a bit north.
  22. Looks like a luck of the draw type day to me but as someone (Canderson?) said the models more favor the S/W LSV though the HRR has a large area of convection come through further east over night. It is so humid I think every area gets some rain near it by this afternoon.
