    Will say it again, good thing for the sandy soil or another Helene would be a risk. Would be bad as is with this depict. That is a 15-20 bagger there. CMC prefers to hold energy back and give Steinhatchee more several days later. Lots of options for what to do with all the energy and moisture injecting into the Gulf then wandering around. EC has a Tropical Storm or Cat 1 approach Tampa then sink south in a death march toward Cuba only to survive and veer back into the Gulf.

    Frustrating. I am frustrated for Mike and the other O's fans. They had a bases loaded, no out inning and end the game with one run.

    Barely anything out of the SE. 3K has a brief period of winds from the west tomorrow (for me) then back to the SE Fri AM into the night. Fairly cloudy in the LSV but better than now (some breaks) into Saturday AM. HRRR has more sun than 3K tomorrow then thick cloud's Friday.

    The time of @Blizzard of 93 commeth. GFS has it first PA snow 300+ hours out (also has a light to moderate freeze)

    No sun yesterday, just Saturday I think and yea the models that show clouds hanging tough for you tomorrow do clear me out until Friday, then cloudy again.

    Some models show little in the way of sun (some peeks) for the LSV until sometime over the weekend when a front comes by to cut off the easterly flow. Others show some tomorrow then clouding up Fri again. Clouds up against the ridges Thur on the Nam 3k as an example. NWS AFD speaks to this though they think the front does dissipate enough to allow some sun Thursday afternoon.

    Iran attacking Isreal again could have something to do with it (the bigger picture instability) as well as the massive dock workers strike.

    This wind is drying things nicely over here. Sustained 15-20 and gusts to 30. Roads, etc all dry now.

    I just checked HGR and they had 1.45 for Sept. 2.4" below normal for the month.

    I would have to do some quick math when I get home but that is a good 1.25" more than I have had since Aug 9th.

    Some models try to sneak some sun in on Thursday. Some like the HRRR suggest clouds hang tough Thursday especially East. Outside our area, still a hodge podge of solutions and risks in the Gulf the next 7-9 days. Sept at MDT came in quite close to even with it just being .2 AN.

    I planted several rectangular areas of grass to cover some areas that died due to sun and lack of rain. Similar to putting sod down. They are not growing much yet but will when the sun comes out for longer than 6-8 hours. My existing grass will not grow much now but it is greening a bit. Half of my maple leaves are down so will have to mow just to get rid of the leaves.

    I was just pointing out that some models did show rain. The GFS did not. I cannot defend CTP's zones though! Today looks like a gang buster rain day for some as well. I missed out on most this weekend so hope to get in some today. It has only rained about 1/3" here Fri-now.
