    30F and glazed over here. Wonder how long it will take before we're back above freezing. Looks like there might be a little snow clipping us later tonight as the low bombs out overhead.

    Would love a wire-to-wire winter but that type of season is really difficult to come by. Still some time left this year for a period of good to great outcomes for the winter lover even in SNE.

    Agreed. Spain is getting slammed with a storm now. I enjoy watching those events even though they're happening across the ocean.

    Temp briefly spiked to 23 and then went back down to 20 between 9 and 10PM. Coming down nicely now.

    Roller coaster here today. 65 at 12:30. down to 50 at 2 and back up to 59 now.

    When I saw that report out of Portsmouth Airport I thought it had to be wrong. I'm about three miles from there as the crow flies and measured about 3.5 inches. Granted, I was not out there every six hours. Looks like another report confirmed that too, so I'm not sure why I ended up so much lower. Either I ended up with 27.5 or 32 inches for December.

    Agreed. I think it was wxfella and others said recently, gradient like last winter just further south.

    Euro looks like snow to sleet back to snow scenario for here. Can do without ZR...2008 was a disaster.

    I typically have these two weeks around Christmas and New Year off of work and look forward to the potential of a good wintry event (and having the luxury of cleaning it up at my leisure). Oh well, at least there's a chance my wind fetish is satisfied with that storm next week. Could do without another heavy rain. I have a general 1-2 inches of snow left over most of the yard so can enjoy a mostly white Christmas. I hope everyone enjoys the holidays with family and friends.

    Picked an inch last night to bring the total to 4.5" for the event, now 24" on the season. 23F
