  1. Jackpotville pulls the late win
  2. Answer is yes. Big flakes in Columbia now.
  3. Is that nice band sinking south into HoCo?
  4. Obviously we saw that coastal enhancement for the eastern shore that some models hinted at going in. Dare I say Ukie and Herpderp won this event?
  5. Weird, that large area of snow moving west to east kept moving west to east instead of vaporizing like the hrrrr said.
  6. Well since the Hrrrrrrr has been so spot on so far I guess we’ll beliwve it
  7. Hoping that nice area to the NW rotates through.
  8. High quality flakes in greenbelt under that band. But rather it would go park itself over HoCo.
  9. Over 1” in greenbelt per the old finger ruler
  10. Based on spotter reports, looks like >1” so far for the VA side of DC up into MoCo and points N/W. A bit under that for HoCo, PG, and points N/E.
  11. Radar looks good for back home HoCo friends. Any confirmation? Back to pixie dust here in greenbelt with some subsidence south of that band.
  12. 12z 3k NAM initialization is comically bad.
  13. I’d guess between 0.25-0.5” in greenbelt. Will have no trouble reaching 1” if this continues for another 1-2 hours.
  14. You’re close to the NWS radar at Dulles. For low clouds and low topped events, like this one, you’re mostly in the cone of silence.
  15. Snow probably verging on moderate in greenbelt.
  16. Howdy colleague! Flake size just increased here.
  17. But you said it was over already?
  18. Hit steady light snow in south laurel. Roads dusted at work in greenbelt.
  19. Wonder if they decided they could get everyone to school before any issues. But yeah, afternoon might be more challenging.
  20. BWI set a record low max today of 21.
  21. Ok, this is back to pattern and storm tracking
