  1. My wife also has Pfizer and she had very few side effects to either shot. But I have a weaker constitution so we’ll see
  2. I didn’t expect them to pull it out. Hopefully they can beat up on the chowdaheads at home.
  3. Orioles home opener and my vaccination shot 1 today! Let’s go!
  4. A 2-1 lead in NY seemed destined for disappointment. Maybe they’ll pull it out in extras but I’m not holding my breath. Yankees pitching staff is on another level relative to the O’s. Although O’s just retook the lead!
  5. It was and I think that’s one of the greatest scientific achievements of the last century. If you’re worried about the “new” aspect of the mRNA vaccines (Pfizer and Modena), then I’d encourage you to seek out the J&J which is based on proven vaccine technology. Same vaccine mechanism as the flu vaccine and most others. Proven safe and effective.
  6. It’s a giant ridiculous problem if getting a vaccine to end the worst pandemic in 100 years is seen as a “liberal” activity.
  7. You haven’t been shit on in any way. Other people shared their disagreeing opinion. You’re the loudest voice on here about “opening up” and deciding covid is just part of our lives, yet you are refusing the most effective (and easiest) way to make those 2 things reality. So sure, you’re welcome for on your opinion but doesn’t mean everyone else has to accept it.
  8. One very important reminder for people about vaccines: it doesn’t just protect you!!! It protects everyone around you! Kids, elderly, neighbors, and strangers.
  9. It must be exhausting to be so aggrieved by things that impact nobody’s life every damn day
  10. Guidance can’t seem to decide if we’re getting less than 0.5” of rain through Sunday or more like 1.5-2”. Keeps bouncing back and forth. Seems like the drier solutions are becoming more common though as we get closer.
  11. O’s kids cheer free program is a great deal. You can definitely park for free or cheap near the stadium if you know where to go, and the O’s allow you to bring in essentially any non-alcohol food and drink you want. It doesn’t have to be any more expensive, and can be much less, then going to a movie as a family.
  12. CVS at Rockville! Go now! I just got mine for this week!
  13. I was just looking around for me. Try Safeway, there are some scattered appointments at their locations. Saw a couple at Edgewater Safeway later this month.
  14. Find one at a pharmacy. I’d you’re willing to drive a bit, you’ll get one. Or drive to Salisbury for the walk ins at the mass vaccine site...
  15. Gov. Hogan announced mass vaccine sites are open for all 16+ starting tomorrow. All sights open starting next Monday.
  16. Wednesday looks interesting. Seems like there could be a pretty narrow area with heavy rain. Euro drops a 1” stripe through the region, but super narrow.
  17. There’s clearly been a big expansion in availability this last week. The Twitter account I follow that posts open slots has had tons each day the last week.
  18. Yeah, I agree. But I feel like almost everyone who wants a vaccine will have gotten it or have an appointment by June 1 or so.
  19. I’m definitely going to get it, but being lumped in with people who have cancer, diabetes, asthma, etc. is kinda BS. I’m not “essential” by the 2c standards. Maybe I’ll see how things go the next week or two and then just do it. Or drive to the Salisbury mass vaccine site where I guess they’re doing walk ups?
  20. So apparently in MD if your BMI is over 25 you’re eligible for phase 2b? Mine is just over... I feel rather conflicted since I think BMI is mostly crap.
  21. Mine wasn’t in 100% bloom yet either. Close, probably needed 1-2 more warm days.
