    Major rain shield fail. 2.32”, most of that in 30 minutes.

    Pretty intense storm woke us all up. 6.5”/hr rain rate on the nearby PWS!!

    I liked how the periodical cicadas were polite enough to be quiet by 6pm or so. The damn annual cicadas just get louder near dusk.

    WPC has a high risk of excessive rainfall just into south PA and includes a sliver of Garrett County.

    Euro broadly 1.5-2.5” of rain through the metro regions.

    The series of incredibly near misses for MBY is kind of remarkable at this point. Pretty much all of August since the Columbia tornado.

    GFS remains the leftmost global for Ida when it gets to our region. GGEM and Icon take it right over us and dump the rain.
