Saw first shells in my yard in the sunniest/warmest spot. Not a lot, maybe 10-12.

I do hope it becomes more customary for people to wear a mask if they’re feeling sick. And if you’re feverish or hacking up a lung, GTFO of the office. Nobody wants that shit. I’ve immensely enjoyed not being sick in 14 months.

My daughter got shot 1 today. Lots of good things happening. I hope everyone eligible gets a vaccine if they haven’t already. It’s clearly having a great impact on case rates. My gym membership resumes next Monday. I don’t expect them to lift their mandate quite yet, but maybe soon? I wasn’t looking forward to indoor cardio with a mask.

Made homemade banh mi sandwiches yesterday for Mother’s Day lunch. Kids even liked them. I’d upload a picture but it never lets me.

Did a spontaneous trip to Brookeville Beer Farm yesterday with some friends for Mother’s Day drinks and pizza. Really nice place. I already liked their beer, but the pizza was top notch too. Definitely will go back, probably on a warmer day! Now back to my regularly scheduled programming of cowering in fear of Covid and hiding in my basement. That’s what the rural northern NH resident says we all do, right?

^don't believe that map for MBY, but did have some big boy/girl rain in the last 90 minutes. Around 0.3” for the day and 0.4” for the last 3 days.
