  1. Low of 16. Sunnier and/or south facing parts of my yard are 50% or less snow covered. Those parts will probably be down to grass by tomorrow. The rest is still covered completely.
  2. As an orioles fan first, there’s no trade I’d make in lieu of the O’s winning the World Series. I’ve seen the ravens win the SB in my adult memory, so I’d probably trade that “relatively” cheaply. Maybe 28-32”?
  3. Last nights EPS apparently was pretty bullish on big ice from this threat next weekend
  4. Temp 35 already. Torch
  5. Any of the M/D line crew getting a snow shower? Radar looks half decent.
  6. Yes lots of bikers in warmer weather No, that’s farther west than I go
  7. Car thermometer showed 5 driving through USDA farms in beltsville
  8. Low of 7. Three morning lows were 9, 8, and 7.
  9. @wxmeddler and @Eskimo Joe: are there any plans for a mesonet station in Harford and/or Cecil counties? That looks like a big gap right now.
  10. I think widespread subzero was always going to fail, but if our Sunday storm hadn’t choked so badly, it certainly would have gotten colder. Also had a bit more cloud cover than expected I think.
  11. FWIW, HM on Bluesky “This is the kind of winter in Philadelphia where it hits 70°F around 2/20 and then the largest snowfall of the season hits March 5-10.“
  12. lol Nevermind
  13. Don’t see this yet? Although everything around is…
  14. A two hour delay to get things rolling at ~730am vs 530am is super dumb when in winter the low temp often occurs around 7am.
  15. Low of 9 btw. Between holidays, snow, whatever today is, and the flu going through the house, my kids have had 5 days of school in a month. I’m getting radicalized into the Maryland @mattie g
  16. FFS. HoCo closed schools
  17. Briefly heavier snow in this squall than anything yesterday
  18. HoCo open 2 hours late tomorrow for winter I guess
  19. And that spotter reported 6”+ on 1/6! Yeah reasonable that they’d be the highest in Harford Co, but they’re much higher than nearby reports like @mappy
  20. Few flurries in Columbia
  21. Which one of you weenies is the slantsticker in Norrisville, MD?? Been WAY higher than surrounding measurements each time this year.
