Got .50". The best stuff slid just south. Seeing some PWSs near Strasburg at 2".

It looks like order has been restored in the world. Lol. Next to nothing here. Drove through quite a storm south of Staunton this evening.

Yesterday's total was .78" from 3 showers. 1.68" event total. Respectable. The up to 5" in the forecast yesterday was a bit head-scratching however.

Radar not looking good for flooding rains today. Have picked up .40" since overnight, though.

Didn't get any rain today since the overnight. 1.26" event total and a wrap for Miraculous May. The wettest month I have ever seen. It looks like Ireland around here on the first day of Summer; a stark difference from the past several years.

Steady wind-driven rain with this comma-head. 1.25 " so far. Over 12" for the month. Unbelievable.

Pretty potent storm just rolled through. Lot of wind and torrential rain. Looks like .66" in about 10 minutes. Wild.

.23" away from an 11" month at the nearest PWS to me (probably an inch for MBY). Can we make it tomorrow?

.89" yesterday, .87" today. 1.76" soaker over 24 hours. And I don't think my AC has run in a week. There aren't enough superlatives to describe this stretch of weather. The closest wxunderground station is showing an insane 10.77" for this month. I need to check my posts to see if I missed some rain at the beginning of the month.

A gorgeous cool evening for the Newtown Heritage Festival. Lots of festival-goers in fleece and blankets for the fireworks last night. Incredible for this time of year. Easily, the best prolonged stretch of weather i have ever seen this time of year. Yesterday afternoon when I was grilling I went and sat down in the sun and the warmth in the cool breeze was just so relaxing. This must be what summer feels like in central Canada. Delightful.

Showers last night salvaged the event here. Nothing today. .74" total. Breezy, overcast, cool today. Feels like a late October day. Love it.
