  1. I guess its blowing around the building in different directions.
  2. The fine powder is high ratio and it piles up fast. I had 11 inches in 3 hours during the blizzard and flakes were dime sized. There were just so many of them falling it was like a fog cloud on the ground. Similar conditions now. The blizzard lasted for almost 24 hours, this one is going to last 5 or 6 or we would be looking at 2 feet.
  3. Down in LaFollette, roads are now covered. https://www.resortcams.com/webcams/downtown-lafollette-tn/
  4. Crossing 2 inches. Visibility around 1/4th mile or less. Wind has calmed down some or it would be full blizzard conditions.
  5. Down in LaFollette it's coming down pretty good now too. Roads are just wet so far. https://www.resortcams.com/webcams/downtown-lafollette-tn/
  6. Heavy nickel to quarter sized flakes here. Blowing everywhere. Probably about 3/4ths of an inch now.
  7. Very heavy snow now. Ripping in sideways. Amazingly the ground is getting white quickly. No puddles I guess.
  8. Already widespread power outages here and my lights have been flickering. Strong strong winds.
  9. I had about 15 minutes of rain and sleet, then some rain and snow for about 10 minutes, then snow and sleet for 10. It's all snow now.
  10. No problem. I just found them recently. It snowed for a good 8 hours after that. It was already up to the bottom of the 4th 8 inch block there.
  11. A few nostalgia photos since were getting near blizzard conditions on the 29th anniversary. Blizzard of 93, ft my sister and our grandparents vehicles.
  12. I liked it better keeping it in one personally but either is fine with me.
  13. The camera Jax posted earlier looks awesome right now. Sideways quarters and half dollars.
  14. WVLT met is killing me again. He just said "We've got some warm rain falling, it's not going to be enough to make puddles, but it will be enough to stave off accumulation for a while." I've never seen anyone more obsessed with puddles and anyone so wrong about the dynamics of sticking snow.
