    It's been the main story here. This is actually probably underdone on the 24 hour rainfall here.

    Had an epic rainer with pea sized hail and probably 40mph winds around 4:30. Caused quite a few extra flooding issues. Well over 4 inches in the last 18 hours now.

    Had a pretty strong storm roll by a bit ago and it's thundering quite frequently now with a major downpour. That heavy rain has been the main story here. Between last night and today, I've gotten 3.4 inches and it's adding on fast.

    First tornado warning for Bell Co Kentucky. Radar indicated. That area has been prone to tornadoes in the past.

    .74 from that storm. Watered me tomatoes about 2 hours before it hit. One of the better ways to bring rain, since I actually carry creek water in a 5 gallon bucket to water them.

    Managed some t-storms and rain here around midnight to 2am last night. Looks like there could be some heavy stuff Friday. This is the first time in 3 or 4 years we've not had at least one historic flooding event by this point in the year. So while it's not truly dry here, it seems like it compared to the last several years.

    Heavy frost this morning, 31 degrees. I hope this is the last one of the season. Looks like nothing lower than low 40s until May 3rd.

    Looking at the Williston ND obs right now, 32 degrees, heavy snow, winds N at 40 with gusts to 60. Now that's a true epic blizzard. Crazy they haven't gotten two in a couple of weeks in mid and late April.

    Two big frosts in a row the last two days. Not sure if they are over or not. I won't plant anything susceptible until May 5th comes with a good forecast for the next 5 or 10 days.

    It was overall consecutive wins by any SEC team vs all competition. Texas A&M has it at 24 in a row.

    Strong winds and heavy rain here. It lost its steam right as it got to the Plateau.

    Another day of extremely strong winds. Makes you wish you had a windmill.

    24 was the record by any SEC team.

    The Vols tried some bizarre experiment with wooden bats and Smokies stadium and it cost them tying the SEC win streak record. Hate that they pulled that with so much on the line.

    That's crazy. It rained 1.9 inches here. I hoped everyone to the East got soaked.

    I kept getting dustings that would melt off after it stopped snowing. It probably snowed 1.5-2 inches last night and today but it melted every time after each snow shower. About 500 feet above me it stuck, about 3/4ths inch to an inch there in the photo. At 2800ish feet where I have relatives, they got nearly 3 inches, temps hung out around 32 there today.

    Looks like BN temps will continue for the next two weeks and we may not be done with snow showers by looking at the GFS.

    Another heavy shower just blew through. They last 5 to 10 minutes but it just pours quarter or bigger wet flakes and the wind gets up to 20 or 30mph.

    I've had several dustings today. Very intense snow showers at times. Not common for an afternoon in April to say the least, but it happens every few years.

    Intense bands are working through again now. Getting some quarter plus sized flakes coming down pretty hard. This band is the one bringing it.

    Another round of hard snow rolling through. Looks like it's going to last 5 or 10 minutes.

    They are like pop up storms. The wind kicks up and it rips for a few minutes over a smallish area.
