    This is insidious freezing rain. It's light, and with temps in the mid 20s, there no run off.

    Half sleet, half freezing rain now. Up to 23 degrees.

    Current road conditions. Someone had already spun across my driveway. The sleet has changed the snow consistency that had fallen from powder to much more compacted and thick feeling.

    The 18z 3k had me at 27 at 4pm. The HRRR keeps adjusting down as it runs each hour. Two hours ago it had 4pm at 25.

    I meant 00z last night. It ran then and showed 3 northern stream waves but 12z didn't run.

    Temperature keeps falling.

    The GEM had 3 clippers in about 36 hours to end the week at 12z. It seems it didn't run at 12z today.

    Flake size staying around nickel at best but lots of them now. Very high ratio powder. About the best contrast I have is taking a photo towards a vehicle. Curious if the big flakes come right before sleet or not.

    Heavy snow now. Temp is down to 19.

    It's wetbulbiing. My dew point was 4 earlier. It's up to 18 now. I'll probably bottom at 19 or 20.

    Still in a dry slot on radar, very light flakes, temp continues to fall, now 21 degrees.

    Not sure why, things were picking up nicely here then a dry crack started and everything just collapsed around me. Gonna have to wait for that to fill back in while the warm nose creeps north.
