  1. The way I've been waking up in the wee hours of the night the last couple of weeks, this could be a sucky night for me!
  2. wind is ripping pretty good at the Pit.
  3. Pretty much dry-slotted at this point. Good breeze though.
  4. Nothing on the ground but was surprised to see some mangled flakes mixed with the rain after climbing out of greenfield just now. Car was reading only 35*.
  5. No leaves here now. Same as rocktober. The 26” of fluff caused no issues st all.....roads aside.
  6. Ramping up quickly on the SE coast. Wind-swept rains. Not quite the same as wind-swept snow.
  7. Who needs Will’s memory when you have FB? I have no recollection of that.
  8. It’s breezy in Marion. I’m sure it’ll get better...or worse...soon enough. The call for interior (nw mass ) is gusts to 30. this just came up as a “Facebook memory” from 2 years ago. Had it snowed then?
  9. Nice picture. I'm guessing this thread will be shut down after today.
  10. Thanks, Steve. And LOL about Andy's Commodore.
  11. Yeah--even Pit2 is in the 20's. Station nearby has it at 25.9
  12. Pit 1 Tonight Mostly cloudy. Snow after midnight. Patchy fog after midnight. Snow accumulation around an inch. Cold with lows in the lower 30s. Northeast winds around 5 mph. Chance of snow 90 percent. Saturday Rain, snow with a chance of freezing rain in the morning, then rain and freezing rain in the afternoon. Patchy fog. Visibility one quarter mile or less at times. Little or no additional snow accumulation. Ice accumulation of up to a tenth of an inch. Highs in the lower 40s. Northeast winds 15 to 20 mph. Gusts up to 30 mph. Chance of precipitation near 100 percent.
  13. I'm not sure how accurate my car termometer is, but it was reading 35 2 hours ago on my way through Marion.
  14. Pit2 Snow or rain likely in the morning, then rain in the afternoon. Snow accumulation around an inch. Highs in the lower 40s. Northeast winds around 10 mph with gusts up to 20 mph, increasing to 15 to 20 mph with gusts up to 30 mph in the afternoon. Chance of precipitation near 100 percent.
  15. Alas, I'll be missing any IP or SN that mixes in at the start--family weekend at my daughters school. Bound for the tropics of SE Mass.
  16. It's tough for mimes to ask questions. That's unlikely. We'll need to get something closer to ORH--perhaps in the city itself. We really like the west side. We wont be in a position to buy until Pit1 actually sells. So, I think Pit1 will always be the primary residence.
  17. That's down at Pit1. With the exception of coming down to be sure the house is still standing (or if the weather should dictate ), I'll be bidding farewell to Pit 1 some time next week or certainly next weekend.
  18. Doubt this happens, but it's nice to read it. Step-by-step. Friday Night A chance of rain between midnight and 5am, then rain and snow likely. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 34. Light and variable wind. Chance of precipitation is 60%. Little or no snow accumulation expected.
  19. Thanks, Kevin. I'll be in Bath, ME. Also, I can't find the log-in information from last year. Can you send that along? Thanks again for all your work with this!
