Did winter get uncancelled after being recancelled yesterday following the uncancelled recancel on Friday? It's hard keeping up with the posts in this thread.

There's no doubt there will be some sort of a relax period (delayed January thaw?) which we traditionally see every season. It is cool to see it continue to get delayed tho. Wonder if the duration shortens as well? Btw, if next Saturday happens, kudos to the LR guidance for showing this in unison at a few points last week.

Maybe, but keep in mind that's a strat chart and not what's necessarily going on at the trop level. Would still think seeing some of the height amomalies depicted that would couple down to the trop.

Yeah 18z on the 24th, at least up this way, was the one where it grazes NJ. Down there if may have picked up on the shift a couple cycles earlier. No model really ever showed a direct hit up this way iirc.

But Siriani when playing Carolina who was ranked dead last againt the run decided to pass and avoided running. He is a strange coach and can be consistent asf for 6 straight....just deadly, then have a game totally against anything they had done all season and you just scratch your head. My theory is you come out doing what got you the dubs all season and adjust during the game as needed. Dont adjust to your opponent before the ball is even kicked off.

Washington scares me as an Eagle fan, ngl. Philly (Siriani) is past due for throwing out his usual bullshit game plan. Everyone saying this is going to be a close game. I'm not feeling that. I also think Philly 'climo' will come into play. There have been more post season/winter snowfall appearances for Philly, so that may be a factor. They are veterans in clearing snowfall while others are on the sidelines just watching. Those post winter snows are rare in Washington for a reason.

I remember particularly seeing the ETA the morning of the 24th had the low stronger, much stronger, but was still well ots. Then 12z on the 24th closer. Then next run closer and a coastal grazing. No model I dont think had it until it happened. We were on mirc #neweather chat....me, randy iirc, Marcus, ian....we were watching the radar at 0z and saying it didn't match the models. And it was on!! What a memorable event! Had around a foot where I'm at but we sleeted and dry slotted as it exploded and occluded.
