    In Liberty NY, hoping not a lot of ice accretion. Tried to but was unsuccessful in having a backup generator installed @crossbowftw3 what do you think?

    6 inches now in Liberty NY, just used a snow blower for the first time ever; electric, corded. LOVE it Hopefully at least another 6 for a solid foot and I'll be happy, anything over that like 18 inches total I'll be even happier !

    So no matter what run , 15 hours later will always be the "TOTAL" that fell from beginning to end with modifications made each hour on the HRRR?

    so this is for 4PM tomorrow and basically if it is correct is the total or what is still left to come? I was under the impression like with the HRRR every hourly run projected to the end of the storm shows what is left to come not the cumulative snow

    Approaching 2 inches in Liberty NY in the Catskills 15.8/14 There is some nice echos passing through but nothing too much in back of that The HRRR also is decreasing hour by hour its 15z totals. Concerning ?

    Is there a graphic the NWS provides which projects possible snow ratios?

    Does anyone think any spot in the massive storm will hit 30"? Does this storm have that potential oomph ? Can you imagine if this storm slowed down; even by 3-6 hours?

    What ae your thoughts of the possibility of thundersnow? Do you see this as a solid 12 hour event or a solid 12-18 hour event? I can't stand 6-8 hour storms no matter how many inches per hour they produce
