  1. Tip's Hadley cell keeping it too far to the north.
  2. Let's lock in the 297 hr GFS shall we?
  3. Admittedly was not expecting to see the sun today. This is a nice surprise.
  4. Operational guidance likes this timeframe. Worth watching. Need ensemble support though.
  5. I was thinking about re-doing my entire gutters/draining system. Anyone have any recommendations?
  6. Just had a legit gust here. Doesn't happen too often.
  7. I cleaned the gutters yesterday at 430p just as it was getting dark. Gutters are now full again (as expected)
  8. How are we not getting a storm out of this?
  9. Observation that I just made....anyone else notice a lack of acorns this year? I don't have a single one in my yard. I had mountains of them previously.
  10. My other comment is that I'm at such a busy point in my career/life that I don't have the energy to worry about what the weeklies show for week 4. Not enough space in head to worry about such things. Like Drago in Rocky 4: "If it snows, it snows. If it's overcast and 42. it's 42."
  11. My leaves appear to be giving up the fight today. Falling like snow on this light breeze.
  12. Thank you for your thoughts. Good luck with your outlook.
  13. I applaud you all who put in the time to develop a seasonal forecast. I'm of the opinion that we struggle to get day 5 right most of the time, so why try for day 55.
  14. Been awhile since we've had a good January right?
  15. Still been pretty cool to see around here that the bottom of the hill has a nice frost in the AM while at the top of the hill...nothing.
  16. Isn't November typically endless cloud cover, 50s and drizzle? Or am I thinking April?
  17. What do we need at our latitude for the lights to be visible to the eye?
  18. Getting in a couple rounds this weekend. Playing in a scramble tournament Saturday (with big cups; never done that). So getting in a practice round tomorrow.
  19. Glad to know that we can't forecast space weather either.
  20. It's always a good time to remind ourselves that ensembles should be favored beyond day 5. Large swings in model guidance are still likely. Meanwhile...the GEFS & EPS have been rather consistent for the offshore Sunday system. Passing harmlessly out by Bermuda. GEFS slightly more consistent.
