  1. Pretty sure he should start chugging bleach right?
  2. For fun. Since moving into my house August of last year, I'm currently down 19.44" of water. Makes me feel a bit better about my crappy grass.
  3. Bob got me to thinking and just checked. Using KMHT because I know KASH's bucket wasn't working for a while. Year-to-Date: 20.80" Normal Year-to-Date: 33.35" (down 12.55") Really the deficit is primarily since April 1....down 10.24" since then. With the Euro showing a grand total of 0.12" for next 7.
  4. Cool day. Just glanced at station and it says 56F. Trace of rain.
  5. I mean the system is still there. The evolution has changed. Weenies responding as if the potential storm went poof.
  6. See: Tip’s & I musings regarding winter patterns in fall followed by a porked winter.
  7. KASH bucket only had 0.19". KMHT had 0.45". Not sure we can trust KASH precipitation amounts yet.
  8. Just got wicked dark out. Check visible and sure enough that thin line (front? can't really tell looking at surface obs quick) just went over head.
  9. Did the wind even blow in the Merrimack Valley?
  10. You'll have to keep us southerners updated as to how the foliage handles tonight's deluge. Was hoping to take a drive up with the misses this weekend.
  11. Wow. Suns out here. Barely a blip on radar. Low level mist?
  12. I legitimately just looked at computer guidance and went......if there were ever a pattern to get another October snow storm and logged in to find this thread.
  13. If you get it a second time......I'm sure it still sucks if you get it the first time.
  14. Throwing in the towel on any reasonable landscaping this fall. Just too much stein. Just going to start fresh again in the spring.
  15. Because the Hadley cell. At least I think that's what Tip told me over in the September thread. I mused about how recent fall seasons from mid-September to mid-November the last few years featured winter-like patterns with continuous low pressures passing near or through the northeast bringing us bountiful rain opportunities which had they been 3 months later would have been a weenies dream.
  16. Rooting hard for Wolfie today. I put a $1 on him at 80:1 to win.
  17. Can we talk about Wilfred for a minute? Why are we naming easterly waves?
  18. Furnace is definitely kicking on tonight. House is at 64. Have it set at 60.
