  1. Long range isn't looking as bad as it has been but not a snowy pattern either. Just enough ridging in the SE to prevent any true miller A tracks.
  2. Robert thinks so. Rates and wind will be wild in the higher elevations
  3. At least you arent 10 miles away from possibly over a foot compared to nothing in your backyard.
  4. Looks like I will be on the outside looking in once again but work should be fun in west Asheville Monday morning
  5. The way this is trending, someone could get 10+ near the border up towards Roan and Beech Mtn. Gonna be some insane rates
  6. I would be surprised if thwy didnt issue watches at 3 a.m. for border counties.
  7. Its more amped again, the low tracks right over MBY the mountains still get hit hard on the backside. Central and western VA jackpot
  8. Short range Canadian is a qpf and paste bomb for mountains. Biggest run yet
  9. Someone is gonna get crushed though with a stronger system. 6 to 10 inches of snow in 6 hours
  10. You should do pretty well unless it keeps amping up
  11. Yes, it's elevation dependent. On the eastern escarpment down in Marion to Morganton, it will take forever for the cold air to make it over the mountains. They usually only do well in CAD situations.
  12. Think this NAM run will be amped too. this SE ridge means business
