  1. Looks like a dynamic juiced system now could mean big totals for higher elevations of the track is right
  2. At least im working in Asheville Monday since the leeside screwjob is in full play
  3. On the next episode of "As the models turn" the NAM and HRRR have no moisture.
  4. Euro looking interesting too, especially Northern mountains and TN border
  5. The canadian is trending better too for the mountains
  6. The system is trending stronger generally. The timing and placement of the front will be kry to where gets snow. East TN and the TN/NC border up to central and eastern VA would be my guess. Places like northern Mississippi and Alabama could get some snow too. The cold air will have trouble reaching areas east of the Blue Ridge.
  7. It's one of those winters that I go back and read the old memorable storm threads like Christmas 2010. Usually that's in the summer when there's nothing to track but not this year.
  8. Like December 2009, 2010, 2017, 2018. Or 1993 for the mountains and 1989 for the coast. We haven't had a decent February snow in the foothills since 2014 or 15 even longer for March.
  9. You know we're in the suck zone when its this quiet in late December. Most years we would be on page 10 at least yet here we are on page 3.
  10. Sunday night's threat has fizzled on the Euro but at least its turning colder for a few days.
  11. I better practice my pike and muskie fishing first before thinking about moving there. Beautiful area though.
  12. The "pattern change" looks more like a brief cooldown before back to at or above normal.
  13. I'm sure we have scored with a -PNA before though it is very rare. Gonna do some research.
  14. That be the San Bernardino mountains. Big Bear Lake, Mt San Gorgonio, etc. I spent spme time out there. Interesting topography.
  15. It's really a blessing for those folks though. They need every flake/drop.
  16. It could be a few weeks before it frosts/freezes again after tomorrow night. Could definitely see some early budding of trees...
