    Yes. I just came back from buying a dehumidifier up at the Williston Home Depot. The fields all the way up looked like lakes. It looked like there were about 15 cars in the park and ride. A couple of them were parked on a tiny corner that looked like it may have saved them from being completely submerged.

    I think I can speak for my fellow Vermonters on this.

    My boss lives here. She left her house last night and had to go through the woods. She had moved her Jeep earlier in the day just in case. The water was knee deep on the first floor of her house when she left. She made it to her Jeep and had to spend the night in it. She thinks her house might be a total loss.

    Wrightsville Dam was built in response to the 1927 flood. There were a couple of others built as well in response to that flood, Little River in Waterbury and the East Barre Dam, not far from me.     My boss is stuck in her truck in Montpelier on a street above the flooding. She can’t really go anywhere. There are also about 100 cars stuck in I-89 between exits 7 and 9.

    Up to 6.5” now. How come these crazy model totals never come to fruition like this in winter and how come I’m never near the jackpot like this in winter either? One more cliche, can you imagine if it were only 35° colder?

    I'm up to 6.33 since it started yesterday. Water seemed to stop coming up out of the floor drain. I wet vacced as much as I could and will probably be at it tomorrow some more. This sucks.
