  1. I have an older version of this one. It’s worked well for the 3 or 5 years I’ve had it. https://ambientweather.com/ws-2902-smart-weather-station?_gl=1*moug8s*_up*MQ..*_gs*MQ..&gclid=Cj0KCQiAoJC-BhCSARIsAPhdfSi1DxZHfVbYS2Hm6LVIBWjz-zS5KlWHVtIyxicSeKA9w9D2huohcRgaAsJpEALw_wcB&gbraid=0AAAAAD_pbGfHP62-2k9j_eljCxFAnTzKk
  2. I don’t use it either. The number of times I forgot to unplug while getting off the sled was just stupid and annoying. I rarely have an issue anyway.
  3. My gloves have a “squeegee” on the index finger. It couldn’t keep up.
  4. Did you guys ride back in heavy, wet snow? We did about 100 miles in the NEK today and about 30 of those were in wet snow that kept making it hard to see. Constantly wiping my shield. Trails were nice. Lots of snow up there.
  5. Holy crap. I guess they were lucky. I can’t believe he could hike back up with investigators this week.
  6. About 1800’ I think. It’s a beautiful area and a great rec resource for people.
  7. Usually it’s the traffic into Rangeley that’s the issue. I may be in the NEK tomorrow not likely to cross the river but you never know.
  8. Lol. Up here the countdown to golf is usually closer to May 1
  9. The lone trail from Rangeley traditionally gets absolutely whooped this weekend.
  10. No snow here either. Got to take our governor out for a ride today in PF’s area. He had a good time. Welp, looks like I need to delete some old pics before I can add anymore.
  11. I was snowmobiling in the Stowe area today. We rode from Morrisville to Johnson and then up through the Sterling Forest. There was a lot of snow up high. 3’-4’ in places.
  12. Where’s the rat line? VT/NH/MA border? West of RT7, and north of CT?
  13. The biggest issue the last couple of years has been the lack of any sustained cold. I’m not in the NEK or Pittsburg but even here getting snow to fall wasn’t the problem. Not warming up to 50° two days later was the problem. It’s hard to maintain trails when the ground never really freezes.
  14. Lol. I've done that before. For whatever reason the connection is slow and I push submit a couple of times or something like that.
  15. What exactly did you say to your wife? lol
  16. I think they ought to do a tram along the Mt. Rd. In Stowe to relieve traffic. Have it run along the bike path up to the mountain.
  17. Did a little riding around this afternoon. As much as yesterday was the winter version of CoC weather, I really like these days that are cloudy with on and off snow flurries and light snow showers. I can’t give this winter an A yet because we were a little light in snow for a while but it’s edging towards it.
  18. There is a lot of snow out there. This at about 2000’ in Groton. Who needs bridge railings I guess.
  19. Really? If you listen to some of the cops there it’s mid winter.
  20. Was thinking the same thing. You couldn’t draw up a nicer winter day.
  21. MPV is -4.1° for the month but I'm sure next week will put a dent in that. What sticks out to me is the constant wind. Look at column 17 below.
