  1. Wow, mini tsunami. Looks like there had already been some sort of high water.
  2. Well, it’s not like you helped buying a new sled and all.
  3. Hmmmm, I think maybe we’ve found the problem folks.
  4. Now that you mention it, that sounds somewhat familiar.
  5. And that started with the V-Day storm in 2007. It seemed to just pick up in December where it left off when the previous winter ended and just kept going.
  6. Standing on the beach at Lake Willoughby would be cool. Smack dab in the middle of totality.
  7. Probably just going to go out onto my porch.
  8. This is the one that reminded me of this year so I searched for info on that year. I have personal memories of how bad that year was and wanted to see if my memories were correct. 2015-16 was also and awful year personally and weather wise.

  10. Lol. I was thinking we should set up a pool to predict when we would get the first Stein posts.
  11. I was up in Stannard and Wheelock for work today. I was actually surprised at the amount of snow left in places. Obviously still atrocious for December but there was snow.
  12. Wait, haven’t you heard? I have it on good authority that it’s never going to snow again.
  13. This tells me you're not here for the meteorology, only the results. And that's fine. I'll be the first to admit that I'm not all that into the science. Persistence isn't a method though.
  14. Especially when, like Alex, you live there and have the season pass. I'm the same way with golf. I have a membership and and if I tee off and get rained out after 6 holes, it's not a big deal to me. If I paid $75 greens fees, it's much more of an annoyance and I probable just would have canceled my tee time if the weather looked iffy.
  15. Just think how much Dominos is saving. https://www.dominos.com/plowing-for-pizza/
  16. Thank god that’s not a picture of you naked in the hot tub with your friend’s father.
  17. I asked Ray if 79-80 showed up as an analog in his outlook. It was known as the a winter without snow up here. I seem to remember the first decent storm coming in February up here.
  18. It is but you climb pretty quickly to the west.
  19. Welcome to VT. Sorry to tell you though, most of us up here don't really consider what Brattleboro experiences as "true" winter. It's the banana belt of VT.
  20. It's not like you can even trailer to Quebec either.
