We had an event like that in 2007, I think. Winter started out crappy but we got the MLK storm that laid down some decent snow/sleet. Then between MLK and V-Day we got some freak lake effect streamer that dumped like 10” in a narrow area that was right over my area. If you went north or south totals started dropping off quickly. A week or two later we got the big one and the rest of that winter and 2008 rocked.

I have an Ambient that was in that price range. It was easy to set up and connect to the internet and the console. The app is decent as is the console. I wish it had more options in terms of keeping data. Overall it’s been a good unit for my level of use.

And that started with the V-Day storm in 2007. It seemed to just pick up in December where it left off when the previous winter ended and just kept going.

This is the one that reminded me of this year so I searched for info on that year. I have personal memories of how bad that year was and wanted to see if my memories were correct. 2015-16 was also and awful year personally and weather wise.

Lol. I was thinking we should set up a pool to predict when we would get the first Stein posts.

I was up in Stannard and Wheelock for work today. I was actually surprised at the amount of snow left in places. Obviously still atrocious for December but there was snow.
