The drive never really bothered me. As for big drop offs and such, I never really considered that I was afraid of heights until I went out to the Grand Canyon Skywalk a couple of years ago. That freaked me out a bit.
I am so uncoordinated that I could never get the shifting with your foot thing down. I always want to look down when I try to shift. Not conducive to safe riding.
No elevation limit but the permits are for specific Wildlife Management Units (WMU). With the decline in moose population they have drastically reduced the number of permits issued. I think just about all of them are in The NEK but I’m not absolutely positive about that.
When we had gutters installed a couple of years we had the gutter toppers installed so we don't have any issues with leaves and debris getting in them.
I guess this should have been expected but it still sucks. Hopefully they come back next year.
