Lol. Have you ever been to a pga event? Have you ever known anybody who was a local hotshot shooting in the 60’s who then tried to make it on any tour? I’ve known a couple of guys that have come back with their tail between their legs. There is a difference between a very good golfer and those who can make it as a touring pro. There are a ton of guys that can shoot 67 but to survive on tour is a different animal. Start with the game and then look at mental toughness. That was Tiger’s biggest advantage. I was always impressed with the way he would grind to make the cut during weeks when he didn’t have his A game and then somehow end up in the top 10.

I’ll admit, I didn’t know his name but instantly know the face.

We were golfing in Northfield and could tell it was pretty strong two ridges west. We finished up just as it was starting to rumble. It seemed to thunder for a couple of minutes straight at a time.

I would love to do that. About 15 years ago, my brother lived in the East Lake neighborhood of Atlanta and he asked if I wanted to come down and volunteer for the Tour Championship since the neighborhood association provided volunteers and he could get me on the list. I really wish I had taken him up on it. Stupid work, family and life obligations got in the way.

Morikawa is locked in. Oostie almost holes out for eagle while Morikawa unexpectedly leaves his approach short, then steps up and sinks a 25’ putt for birdie. Anything can happen on the last 3 holes but it looks like it’s over.

Yeah, it’s been pretty consistent here too. It doesn’t do much for motivation, I need to run to the grocery store and just haven’t been able to muster the energy to go out in the rain. Maybe I’ll be able to get 9 holes in this evening.

I think it’ll be close.

At least with the rainy day I don’t feel guilty about laying on the couch watching the final round of the Open.

I'm more concerned with charge rate than the range. If the range is only 150 miles but I could re-charge as quickly as I can fill the tank up, I could live with it, provided we could expect range to get better.

Our cat has been a mouse destroyer for the 11 years we've had him. Unfortunately some of the wildlife in the area have been victims too. No birds that I can remember but chipmunks, moles, voles, a rat once (outside thank god). He has also almost been done in himself a couple of times. Once he had what looked like talon holes on either side of his spine. I think a hawk or something tried grab him. He's pretty tough.
