I used to get my domestic hot water from the boiler but installed a hybrid heat pump type when my storage tank died. The first summer with it I turned the boiler off. A few days later, I had water all over the floor. The repair guy told me the seals dried out and shrunk, causing water to leak. Since then I keep it running at a lower temp during summer.

Yeah, we were getting a little swarmed working in the yard today. It’s been worse but definitely an uptick from the beginning of the week.

Exactly. I've never understood the attraction to noise makers like that. Cans don't even improve performance on sleds. And it does annoy me that other loud crap doesn't get the same treatment as sleds do.

Not mine. I have a 4 stroke and it’s one of the quietest out there. In fact, some people complain you hear the track too much. I hate loud pipes on sleds too.

I’d feel the same way about them as I do the stupid loud Harleys and the idiots who think they’re comic geniuses when they drive by the golf course and yell Fore.

Are they any worse than the fat, 50 year old white guys who drive Harleys around with the loudest pipes possible? There is a dealer down the hill from me and they have something going every weekend in summer that attracts a couple hundred bikers over the course of the day. That’s pretty annoying too.

The only time I’ve spent in Worcester was in 88 or 89. I had a friend who was went to college there and worked part time at the Centrum. She got us good seats for an AC-DC concert. I remember the show and parts of the after party at her place. I was too hungover when leaving the next day to remember much about the neighborhood.

My retirement plan of leaving New England from March 15 - May 15 every year is the only way to avoid dreck season.

I struggle getting into any serial type show. I was determined to follow through on the most recent season of Fargo and made it maybe 5 episodes. Unless I'm stuck at home for a few days and can just binge straight through, I can't hand with the extended story type things.
