  1. It really is. The southern end to about 2/3 of way to the norther end are almost claustrophobic with Rt.5A clinging to the side of the mountain. The north end, where we were, is more open and is where most of the camps are as well as the town beach. It really is one of the must see places in VT.
  2. Beat the heat with a trip to the NEK today. Swimming in Willoughby followed by pizza at Parker Pie.
  3. I preemptively closed mine around 8:30 this morning but it’s a lot cloudier than I expected it to be. May have to open them. Currently 72°/68°
  4. I was thinking F until the Sox held them to 2 last inning.
  5. Better comparison might be 2m temps at this rate.
  6. Nogueria family compound? Can’t believe he would block the surveyor.
  7. Be careful, you’ll be chilly getting out of the water.
  8. Absolutely nothing here today. We are in the warned area but nothing yet
  9. My wife was up at a friend's place a mile or two away. When she came back home she asked me if it had rained here at all because it had briefly rained hard up there. True popcorn type showers.
  10. I just drove past and noticed he had a sign out for a Lt. Governor candidate that I do not support. Based on that and that alone, I cannot recommend his trees.
  11. So you're saying the golf GTG is moving to Maine? Sounds like a plan! Is there room for guests at your sisters?
  12. Congrats! Now you can be broke too! Lol. It’s nice having only yourself to blame when something breaks.
  13. My cousin who lives in Huddersfield, W. Yorkshire said they hit 41C That’s stunning for northern England.
  14. I guess I didn't realize the extent of their business. I knew it was a nursery of some kind.
  15. I've never bought anything there but I drive by seemingly daily sometimes. Like you said, it's pretty much next to MPV, not far from the end of one of their runways.
  16. Ended up with 1.13" As Ginx said, it was a nice stratiform rain perfect for watering gardens etc. without washing out roads and driveways. I had an in office day yesterday and all of my colleagues with gardens were happy to have it.
  17. .91” on the day. A couple of flashes and some rumbles earlier. Not all that exciting. It’s been a nice, gentle rain. Good for gardens.
  18. No, no, no! C.O.C type weather is a rigid range of temperatures and dew points accompanied by a specific amount of cloud coverage and wind speed. There can be no variation and it is the same, regardless of season. Once these parameters are met, the day in question must be reviewed by a panel of posters before receiving the coveted C.O.C designation. These are strict guidelines meant to ensure the C.O.C title is not demeaned.
  19. .07 per hour at home. Up to .20 now. I'm in Waterbury at the office today and it seems a bit heavier than that here.
