  1. I give it an hour and a half. I have a 4:00 tee time so it better be done by then!
  2. Ended up with 1.87". There has definitely been a pattern shift as rain has been a much more frequent occurrence lately.
  3. I’d like to see the leftover showers out of here by 3:30 so I get one of my last Tuesday after work golf nights of the season in.
  4. Only for western Washington and eastern Chittenden counties. Just saw one pop for part of Rutland county too.
  5. And just like that, a Flash Flood Warning for that area.
  6. I’m at 1.73” since yesterday so just outside the heaviest totals. The red/purple streak of heaviest totals lines up with what I drove through on 89 this morning. Flashers on and 45mph between Waterbury and Middlesex.
  7. Next thing you know, he'll be rooting for the Yankees and Giants
  8. .74" so far today here. Some thunder and lightning along with the rain rolling through right now. Drove through some heavy rain on my way back from the periodontist in S. Burlington. 40 mph with the flashers on between Waterbury and Middlesex.
  9. It’s not though. Play stops All. The. Time. It takes half an hour for the final 2 minutes of a half or game, there are constant commercial breaks and the replays take forever. Think about it, it takes over 3 hours to play a game with 60 minutes of playing time. Even that 60 minutes only contains like 11 minutes of actual play. The only way that it’s even half bearable is sliced and diced to take all the extraneous standing around out.
  10. It’s been years since I’ve watched an entire nfl game. Red Zone has brought me back in some. There are way too many play stoppages and they have just about neutered defenses. At least the Red Zone cuts out all the useless BS.
  11. U2 Live at Red Rocks is one of greatest concert films of all time.
  12. .31 so far. Drove through some pretty heavy rain on my way up to Williston.
  13. I used to like him until he filed for divorce right after his wife was diagnosed with a brain tumor. https://fox59.com/news/entertainment/albert-pujols-files-to-divorce-wife-of-22-years-days-after-she-had-brain-surgery/amp/
  14. Ironically, I don’t think anyone in VT would ever describe BTV as a “mountain town”.
  15. 38° outside and 60° inside. Closed the windows too late. Turned the heat on to get the house up to 65°
  16. Doesn’t Alex have small kids? That would play into my decision.
  17. I know a lot of you guys have visited VT for skiing at places like Stowe or Killington, spent romantic weekends in hoity toity places like Woodstock or spent time on the shores of Lake Champlain sipping craft brews. You’ve never really experienced the real Vermont though unless you’ve gone to the Tunbridge World’s Fair. Held in one of the most picturesque valleys in the state, it still has strong agricultural ties. It’s the last fair of the season in VT and this year it’s celebrating its 150th anniversary. It’s a place where you see a real cross section of the state. Woodchuck farmers who come off the hill once a year, organic hippies, Dartmouth professors and anything in between. It was a beautiful night for Italian sausage and kettle corn and the place was packed.
  18. 43.1° for the low here this morning. Was breezy and cloudy too.
