I don't want to take anything away from you as I know you take this to heart.... but NNE has been absolutely destroying SNE in "summer of yore" status. You can say dews have been higher or whatever, but the records in NNE show this is pretty rare. BML, MPV, MVL, HIE, BTV etc all added another day to the 90+ list that's reached double digits now at MVL and BML.

Yeah not sure that passes the sniff test... odd to do it frequently in a 5 year period and then never do it again over 60+ years.

A bear was back at it this afternoon... came home with groceries this evening to this little guy grazing in our yard. He seems very young and smaller than the one we had seen before. It's hard to tell. He's a little guy, big stout legs though like he's going to grow up into a big guy. Sort of like a young puppy who's paws and legs are much too big for their body. He's been chilling out at the back dumpster now for a half hour or so. Doesn't give a sh*t about humans, think we are deer or something. Just another living thing going about it's business.

The same as once a year cold shots I guess. It seemed pretty hot region wide. I guess it depends on meh... is everything meh that isn’t remembered years later?

BTV has already had a night or two with 80F at like 3am as the southerly flow cranks. Tonight should be special.

Yeah normally though it’s the daily average temp... like we had that record hot summer a couple years ago almost entirely from high minimums. Its really hard to judge top summer’s from afternoon max temps.

Yeah I mean I honestly don’t know. Sometimes it’s hard to know if it’s DIT hyperbole, or maybe there was a graphic or something on twitter showing that. Genuinely curious if it’s true.

Is that true? It’s been hot across parts of NNE but plenty of spots are getting first 90s today... I didn’t get the feeling placed like BDL/ORH/TAN/PVD, etc were seeing a top 5 or 10 style summer.

Yeah for sure. Even Phin has hit 90F on a hill in Coos County, probably more than once despite the elevation.

It was a good jump up but now getting 95+ in the valley spots so ORH makes more sense. Still 91F there seems tough sometimes even if BDL hits 97F .

Weird not having the NNE ASOS sites on top there... haha. All joking aside, I wonder if they'll mix as well as they did today. I think if they mix out a spot 100 isn't out of the question. If dews stay 63-65F and above, I don't think there's a chance.

Looks about the size of the one we have around. I still haven’t caught ours on camera and it bugs me, ha. He takes off into the woods pretty fast. Acts like a 2-4 year old adolescent male with a tough of spaz. Really curious about everything but doesn’t like to be seen, likes hiding in the woods.

You want to be up at airport height or where mreaves is. Montpelier itself is a bit of a low spot. I think MPV is about 400-500ft higher. Underhill is very snowy but it’s pretty sleepy. I don’t get the idea you want that vibe where everything closes early and you can’t walk anywhere. It’s really a bedroom community for Burlington... but it does get a lot of snow. The CoCoRAHS site’s there are real snowy.

Just wait till it snows and we are analyzing half inch differences in measurements...

I need more IPAs by the river. One thing is it’s not dry up here.
