  1. 96 was definitely better up this way vs 2016. My first 2' event.
  2. Probably in Jan 2013. LOL. But I think it started looking better at the end of the month in terms of the pattern. Only storm where I melted a few days prior, was in 2015 and if mets don't agree they're lying..lol. I thought for sure the system two days before Juno would kick it OTS. Never thought we had room for that to come closer. Boy was I wrong on that, but I think most mets would agree 9/10 times that is a kicker.
  3. Looking at my old pics while cleaning out attachments and making space, some classic images in there. Will have to bring them out soon.
  4. That's a great recap. Jan 2011 was epic weenie month in CT, esp western, SW CT. I have no issues with that month again though up this way. That 6 week stretch was great NW of PYM, but an under the radar epic screw job from Diane's old hood through the Cape. I guess they made up for it later on in the decade.
  5. Wait a minute..lol. I melted? I don't think I melted prior to Feb 13.
  6. Here is the thread I had about previous storms.
  7. Who said that? December isn't wire to wire either.
  8. Well not totally a 100% break. The 27th could be a minor wintry deal, especially interior. The 29-30 also looks like something to watch, especially interior. After that, seems like we shake out the kinks later in 1st week of January.
  9. I wonder if they have to have one of the companies have a monopoly. That is, they agree to run lines if they are the only provider? When that happens, they can sponsor technology like that. I honestly don’t know. What town is she teaching in?
  10. I didn’t know she was a teacher too? Good for you guys. Sounds like a topic for debate in school committee meetings.
  11. I would not venture out on anything deep. This is a shallow pond, virtually a swamp in summer. But I was impressed to see people on it.
  12. Pond hockey today. First time I’ve seen it this early around here, even in a shallow pond.
  13. I feel like most model guidance is trying to show that, so there is some agreement there.
  14. Wish we could leaf blow it out of here, like Steve does with his doggie doo.
  15. If we were to get shut out through NY, it definitely will sour the fun we had though. 2nd half of the month quiet pattern with a pre Christmas melt (I know some will have snow) definitely isn't ideal. That said, I enjoyed the first half.
  16. Thank you, unfortunately working Christmas morning. But, have the week after off.
  17. Would like some chances next week, otherwise the month's legend would take a hit. Would be known as good first half, but not so good second half. But, the overall stats would be snowy for the month.
  18. I just don't see one dominating over the other. If we mention snow chances, you should also talk about the chances of warmer solutions.
  19. Chances it could be nothing or rain too. Like we said, tough to decipher.
  20. EPS has that risk too. I think either is at play. Tough pattern to decipher.
  21. They'll bump up, especially if we get a cutter later next week.
