There has been exponentially worse melts. There’s been insults, people leaving etc.

Not bad there. You'll get some WAA flow from the SW and then winds go NW tomorrow morning. I wonder how you do on the SW-W flow?

Any hairy Italians from Moosup on the slopes? I was told in 2013 that 2-3" of snow was just fine for skiing and sledding.

The worst is if it is wet. If somehow the sidewalk could immediately evaporate and stay dry, that is much better. The wet sidewalks make it awful as the snow melts.

I share the pain of wind. You just give it your best guess. Sometimes take visibility into account..that can help confirm what you're thinking.

You're always going to have periods of troughs up there. No where on this planet can you have the same exact pattern for months. That is climo up there...they get snow..lol. Even our most epic winters will have a trough up there at some point. What you do not want to see, is the continued redevelopment of troughing up there. You'll need a solid 3-4 weeks of data to see if that happens.

I was just going by how much is even near the BTV area, but could be just a large cyclonic fetch of moisture involved too. Pretty cool...should stack there.

Looks like the flow is a bit blocked? Probably opens up more downstream today.

I don't see a pig on the EPS. I see hints of a dateline ridge (into Bering Sea too), and a GOAK trough. If anything it's a bit Nino-like.

We had a good amount damage to Norway’s in this snow. I had to laugh at the comments of two neighbors in our neighborhood FB group about how much they hate them. In contrast I saw limited oak damage. I just love when the Norway’s get slaughtered like that. That species just sucks.
