  1. 09-10 was the best for your perspective....they had so much snow they couldn't go outside to measure it
  2. It's been better up there but I wouldn't exactly say Nne is killing it
  3. I had 16 to 17 and brief 3/hr rates and a couple claps of thunder....when I went downtown to work two miles nw they had 8 or so...and eastern East longmeadow out to Hampden two feet plus
  4. Let's also get the big snows back to at least the New York border
  5. In western zones, you will never convince me January 2005 wasn't exactly just that
  6. And you all used to think I was nuts.....
  7. Today featured led grey skies and temperatures in the upper 20s. Sure felt wintry.
  8. Maybe the New year's cutter will morph into partly to mostly cloudy with a few sprinkles with light South winds shifting northwest
  9. Beautiful fresh inch....what a beautiful week of winter...from the sparkling day before on Wednesday to the slate led grey finish as the sun went down Thursday to a WCB on steroids to pleasant temps and light winds for the cleanup to the wintry perfection of today
  10. If only something could bomb off Nj and ever so slowly pass ese South of long island with a banana high pressure up north , something that would bury the area region wide at least to Albany Mood snow here
  11. Not necessarily. February 1983, January 1996 were both 20 inches in your area.
  12. You are a very talented writer, and great with the weather too. We are so lucky you are here.
  13. Only mood snow here since the wcb moved through early this morning ....lower ct valley screw zone...somewhere between 8 and 10 inches.
  14. I have a great political analogy for you but I will get killed in here if I post it. My mom in Yonkers says almost 2 inches already.
  15. I have to agree,we had a semi private valley monster last Dec which really was a big surprise
