  1. Omg those are like two of my biggest fears lol
  2. The bickering over the ,F4/F5 ratings has brought a whole new level of ridiculousness to that thread....
  3. Well if it would just stay cold they should go away You are a spider magnet lol, I remember when you said that your apartment was full of them too
  4. It was brutal. One clipper in the mid 80s that put down a surprise 3-4 inches of currier and ives was a big deal. 86-87,87-88 and 89-90 were all solid where I was in Bristol CT but 88-89 hardly produced a foot and 84-85 was hardly 20 inches, 90-91 and 91-92 were abysmal too. Even last year we had two double digit events here in death valley, although we only had about 40 total on the season and then that strange Dec 1 event the year before that was huge so we still have not regressed that much. Double digit snows only are supposed to happen 1 in every 4 winters for BDL I enjoyed my overcast day that felt and looked like snow today, if there were a few flurries I missed them and that is just fine.
  5. gfs has an ambitious solution for the weekend....was ambitious for this one too maybe its programmed to spit out more sensational outcomes when certain criteria are met?
  6. I have been thinking about that too. Last year we wound up below normal by about 8-10 inches but we still had two double digit snow events!!
  7. This is a really good question. Down here I would say anafrontal. IVTs seemed to like the Cape, southern Maine back in the 90s anyway, both are pretty rare it seems.
  8. Partly Cloudy and 30-35 would be great compared with all the grinches of recent years, ideal would be a regionwide 2 to 4 inch currier and ives a day or two before.
  9. I can daydream this is a snow map jackpotting my area with feet of snow
  10. Keep it offshore, enough folks are suffering due to crazy weather
  11. Do we have the localized corn field/ dew point phenomenon like they have on a larger scale in Iowa? The discussion about this the other day on TWC was interesting. I guess dews in Iowa can get into the mid 80s!!
  12. Same for here in Springfield, what a month...
  13. Yep, looks super lush. I like it
  14. Just steady rain since 6 am. Maybe an inch. Yellow blobs on radar but ground truth is more meh
