One rain gauge with 1.21 and another with 2.25. The one with the lower amount is in a more open area but tends to get a lot of junk in it. The one with the higher amount is under more trees. We are big soccer fans and I have been going to England for Manchester City matches (and others) for 6 or 7 years. I got tickets for the final Manchester City match last season and they needed a win to clinch the Premier League title. City were 2 goals down after 70 minutes, then scored 3 goals in five and a half minutes to win. Most amazing sports event in my 68 years. My nephew and his family live in Northport. They are a few miles inland and supposedly at about 20 feet of elevation. They are both nurses at an area hospital. His wife is on duty now while he is at home with the kids. At some point my nephew will have to go in to relieve the on duty team so they were not able to evacuate. Going to be a rough ride for them.

Gotta go with the Warren Zevon version as he was truly knockin' on heaven's door when he recorded this. And if this miserable weather doesn't end soon, I'm gonna be joining him. I don't know how anyone can truly enjoy this weather.
