Solak, Big time wind damage event looks pretty likely for North GA. Looks like the whole forum is going to get some action this time. I read WxSouth who is honking Tornadoes but NWS says QLCS with wind damage due to north to south orientation down here.

True, never let your guard down but from this map I see GA and WNC being the most under the gun in the forum. Dynamics must be much less impressive for central and eastern NC on Sunday. It could change but I bet NE GA and WNC have maximum heating and dynamics coming together. West Central GA may benefit from morning timing and escape the worst. That said with enough dynamics, timing in West Central GA won’t matter.

If it can snow 12” in early December down here then you guys should not worry about early December. Sun angle is low and ground temps mean jack when you get tons of snow. The wife has wanted to see Asheville for a long time. Looks like I need to book a room and take her up. Of course not telling her about the snowstorm. She hates snow. Lmao

What a “doomsday” scenario shaping up for the SE coast. Seriously starting to get chills. This storm behaved exactly as needed to get into striking position. The massive weakening Florence experienced is a huge reason she’s back with a vengeance so far south.

Hi guys, I went with a smaller garden this year. My tomato plants are massive this year. My pepper plants have just recently started going ape **** too. I’m looking forward to harvesting the first batch of everything in the next week or so.

Yeah I agree. Trends don’t look good. I can’t complain though. Scored 9” from the early December snow. That’s like 300-400% of normal for me lol. Law of averages says I either just made up for the years of no snow or I’m fooked for a few years.
