  1. James Spann weighs in https://x.com/spann/status/2011784584837358010?s=20
  2. Until the EURO joins the party, I'll stick with it. Raleigh and east, you got a chance. Otherwise, not much.
  3. Oh instead of chasing snow in the mountains, I get to chase it to the east of me. Not ideal.
  4. Shoot, I would just take a good old-fashioned rainstorm at this point. Last January was brutally dry and this January is starting out the same way unfortunately.
  5. What?!? We need cold and snow! What have you done to yourself man?
  6. And of course the wife and I had to be out of town today in SC so missed even the mood flakes. Oh well.
  7. Show me the bedsheet. Ready to crawl up/down there!
  8. It is very early, but has a "wasting cold air" type feel to this pattern.
  9. Pattern just has the feel that is something is going to pop, and without much particular warning.
  10. Rain/sleet mix here. 40 degrees
  11. Not sure but I can tell you the same conversations were being had right before Superstorm 1993.
  12. Pretty clear bustogenesis here in the Triad on this one. Precip too early, late cold air push. Gotta head to southern VA to see anything.
  13. Classic north of I-40 storm. Car topper for most. At least it's something!
  14. At this point, just glad to see some kind, any kind, of precip come our way. Incredibly dry here.
  15. My north side of house in the shade. I purposely shovel the driveway and sidewalk to make big piles that stay in the shade all day so the snow lasts the maximum number of days. I ain't right...also I'm 65 years old which makes it even worse
  16. Snow ended. Ended up with a solid 2 inches from this system. Snowed continuously from around 6am to 10am, although the heaviest lasted about 1.5 hours. Crazy overperformer. More than yesterday ironically when we only picked up 1/2 inch. I'll take it!
  17. Been snowing in Lewisville since before 6am and has just gotten heavier and heavier since this band has gone through. Overperformer for sure! No complaints!
  18. Flurries in Lewisville. These upper level systems rarely make it over the mountains. Maybe today will be an exception.
  19. Hear, Hear. Congrats. Y'all have waited for a long time. ended up with 1/2 inch here. Nothing on roads.
  20. We have about 1/2 inch here in Lewisville. Snowing to beat the band a short time ago (1pm) but now has slacked off quite a bit. 30 degrees
