  1. Looking great for my first visit ever to Vermont!
  2. If this plays out, I wonder if my wife will let me come back next year. lol
  3. Even Mt. Washington, NH torches on Christmas. The point and click says highs near 30.
  4. I agree. I'm coming from the Mid-Atlantic for some of that good ole New England white powder for Christmas and I'm looking at rain. lol I even bought snow tire chains. Thinking I need to ditch those and bring rain gear.
  5. Soooooooooo 2020. I plan a trip to VT for a white Christmas and I may be getting a tropical rainstorm while at home, it snows.
  6. Rain all the way up to New Brunswick in late December. Yeah. That works.
  7. Afternoon all. Mid-Atlantic snow-starved weenie here transporting his family to New England for a chance at a white Christmas. At least a Christmas with snow on the ground. lol I've given up on any chance of a DC white Christmas for my young children to experience. So, decided to chase cold air before they lose their over-the-top excitement of seeing snow. Wife picked Wells, VT. I'll be lurking in your forum for the next few weeks! Cheers!
  8. Yeah. I see the mix line coming back north. It was good while it lasted.
  9. My 6 year old was jumping up and down screaming, "It's snowing. Everything is covered!" Win! Anything else is bonus this winter. Fatties mixed in. Moderate snow. 30.4/28.1
  10. Temps still headed in the right direction. Road stickage. Mulch completely covered. 30.4/27.8.
  11. thank you thank you thank you. mix line on radar retreated south of Route 50!
  12. Temps relatively steady. Snow has picked up. 30.6/26.6
  13. Come on snow rates. Increase already. I got the cold air. Show me the snow! Got down to 30.7 bounced back to 30.9/26.6.
  14. Temps on the way down as soon as it started snowing. 31.8/25.1 or so
  15. 32.4 But my weather station has a slight warm bias. So, I may still be below freezing. Google says it's 31 in Adelphi. lol
  16. I agree. It isn't like models haven't been wrong before. Especially when there is a 50 mile margin hanging in the balance. That's like asking models to predict a 50 mile wide bullseye for a hurricane to hit 12 - 24 hours out. Could it happen? Yes. But the low could also scoot 50 miles further east when it matters most. It ain't over until the low is north of Philly!
  17. 36.3/27.1 I have managed to stay out of the grey stripes for a while now. I fully expect a grass topper. 2" - 4" of sloppy goodness.
