  1. 48.7 last night. 3 nights in a row of 40s. Might not see that again for a while.
  2. I think last month many places in the tri-state were like -.2 or so. But that isn't saying much.
  3. I'm saying that it lines up pretty well. In NYC for example, there has been a large population for many years (3.3 million+ in 1900). In Phoenix, not that long ago the population wasn't very much. In 1950, it was only 106,000. Now it is 4.5 million. That is a huge increase in 70 years with tons and tons of development and significant changes in the areas landscape. I think it might play a role with daytime highs as well along with AGW.
  4. I've heard that it has to do with the elevation to our west. When I lived in Piscataway before I moved here, I always noticed this too. I would always say it is our force field, haha.
  5. Yup, down to 68 here now with a dew of 62
  6. Being that it is 83 and cloudy, it doesn't feel too terrible today.
  7. It is only 26 years of data. It barely means anything.
  8. 47 this morning, beautiful
  9. As long as it cheaper to live in those area's, the reward is higher than the risk in many peoples eyes. What is 200k here vs those places is night and day, and paying higher insurance is worth it to millions of people. Until that evens out more, I doubt you see a vast migration take place.
  10. I'd have a dusting where I am 3 miles east of Flemington. Only .02" here with hours of drizzle.
  11. It is funny, I have seen or heard none here, but about 2 miles west of me, they have tons.
  12. Clouds moved in here so only got down to 61. Still feels nice though.
  13. NYC and TTN have been pretty much the same the past 5 days.
  14. Impressive thunder and lightning here. Rain is coming down at 1.25" an hour according to my weather station. Damn, one lightning strike right overhead.
  15. This station is a few minutes from me and yesterday my weather station hit 75.5 for a DP. Right now my weather station is actually at 76.4 for Dew.
  16. This was the last big storm at my old house before I moved here. It was one of my all time favorites. The way the snow piled up on my house reminded me of snow belt pics. Got a little less than 25"
  17. Agreed. Plus many times, looking over prior years' 90 degree days, Central Park was similar to Trenton on many days. Some days Trenton was 91 and Central park was 89. That actually seems pretty plausible based on geography.
