  1. April sucks around here more times than not. Worst month of the year imo.
  2. Rain and sleet here. Deck was crunchy when taking the dog out.
  3. Got down to 27 last night.
  4. I lived in Piscataway for 36 years. I always noticed that area was a bit warmer than some other surrounding spots. Maybe it had something to do with the Watchung "Mountains" to the NW of town. I moved about 10 miles west and there is a few degree difference here most days.
  5. 2.48" yesterday. Around 8 pm last night there was some pretty epic lightning and heavy rains for a bit. It was impressive.
  6. Wow, yup, that was it. .88" on the CoCoRaHS gauge, .82" on my weather station gauge.
  7. Not too far off oddly, lol. Only missed by a few days.
  8. 64, but frequent 30 mph wind gusts for the past 3 hours makes today an L
  9. 7 for the low. Must be close to double digits with times below 10 this season if not already there. I'll have to check Somerville's stats. Edit: looks like 10x in Somerville, not bad. 4 total last winter.
  10. It also feels cold today because it IS COLD. 23 degrees with 30 mph winds is cold no matter when it occurs, 2 days after a 60 degree day or after a 32 degree day.
  11. Happens both ways. When it is up, you hear what global warming. When it is down, you hear how we are all doomed.
  12. Actually looks like I had a little dusting of snow before a glaze of ice this morning. Very slick out there.
  13. You probably should post in the NYC subforum anyway since by your location, you are probably fairly close to me. I get that we are nearly in the middle between NYC and Philly, but since there is no action in this forum, you might as well stick with NYC.
  14. I might be wrong, but it looks like Hudson Bay is still mostly unfrozen? In past years, I think it is pretty iced up by now and that counts to the area #. Area is pretty high considering the Bay has pretty much no ice.
  15. https://www.weather.gov/wrh/Climate?wfo=phi You can find NYC there as well as other sites. Not sure how far back it goes.
