This is how they plow snow in the Sierran Cordillera. THIS IS HOW WE DO IT, lol Crank up those speakers!

Palisades is shut down. Blizzard conditions with 12 degree weather along with winds 50-60mph and heavy snow has pretty much demolished the resort. ANOTHER 2-3 feet are expected thru Wed morning. Avalanche danger is high. They might have to interlodge, like Alta Utah does. There's a 5-6 foot drift on the 8200' level platform. Its gonna get bigger. Don't look now but another snow assault will crush the Palisades again come Saturday thru the following Wednesday. They have about 505 inches snow, and counting in continuing heavy snow. Mammoth Lakes will probably end up with ~1200 inches on their avalanched season. This is getting to be kind of like The Day After Tomorrow.

Palisades just getting blasted by snow and high winds. There is a HUGE drift on the 8500' level platform but it is hard to see now because that place is getting so demolished by snow. Mammoth Lakes is another place getting ridiculously deep amounts of snow I have lost hours and hours of time getting all engrossed in these snow vids out of Mammoth This is just getting completely out of control in Mammoth!

No doubt about that, as strong winds blow massive amounts of dry snow across the 8200' level platform and more snow falls! Temps are falling too, down to 10 degrees today! Palisades continues to get shredded hard by a serious blitzkrieg blizzard onslaught! Palisades Tahoe is rocking with MORE SNOW! The 8200' level platform is snowed in AGAIN, as more heavy snow blows right by the lights! California is getting demolished by snow even in the lowlands, and much more snow is on the way. I wanna go to Palisades Tahoe so bad.

Palisades has had 52 inches in the past week with at least 3 more feet coming, maybe 5. They had a monster 4 foot drift at the 8200' level, they have cleared it away and its already white again. Palisades may pile up nearly EIGHT FEET of fresh snow by next Wednesday! They have gotten 20 inches in the past 36 hours! It has been snowing hard and blowing all over the place, and it still is! They are getting annihilated so bad, it's the ShreddedSades, not the Palisades Tahoe! Snow has been POURING down for hours and hours and the temperature has fallen to 6 degrees!

Guilty. I've wasted a ton of time today readin Midwest AFD's, not counting the time I spend nursing my snow cravings at the Palisades Tahoe webcams.

Okay folks There were about 2 inches of snow on that 8200' platform over at Palisades, they cleared it, well now they got about 4 MORE inches of snow on it and its gonna snow there tonight too! I really feel for you guys. I want a snowstorm to work out for the Mid Atlantic in March, or even this month, Feb. I am not sure whether I am an eternal optimist, or just a crazy eternal fool. But either way, I am pulling for heavy snow for the Mid Atlantic. I want this sub to be very happy.

Don't look now but there is a possibility of a three stream storm in early March smashing the eastern seaboard. Larry Cosgrove hints at this. Winter is NOT done yet with the Mid Atlantic. The Jebman Blizzard of March 2023 will be long remembered and those memories will be fond ones, of torrential wind driven snows. THIS STORM WILL NOT BECOME A DREADED CUTTER. This storm is the last-minute, Hail Mary Mid Atlantic MIRACLE!

I saw that, I still keep weather records of Dale City and Woodbridge, VA, and Oxon Hill MD where MGM National Harbor is. Love that place! You guys will be pushing about 35 to 38 degrees above normal Thursday.
