  1. Daughter in TX is complaining about the bad calls/no calls...said even the Cowboys fans are noticing it. That's blatant.
  2. Cheap midnight high of 39 here. Was a bit surprised BWI wasn't colder. Currently 29/17 A blessed Thanksgiving day to everyone here.
  3. LWX AFD calls low max at 31, but I think they're talking about Thanksgiving day. I see the record for Nov 22 as 29; in 1880. from Sterling: Baltimore MD area Year High Elapsed 2017 44 1 year 2013 38 5 years 2000 37 18 years 1996 33 22 years 1930 31 88 years The high has not been lower than 31 on Thanksgiving since official temperature record keeping began in 1872.
  4. 37/31 We're in the rain zone with those numbers, but it does feel like snow.
  5. Seems strange that a place with an average of about 42 would so rarely hit 60. I think our dam safety PMP is about 28" in 6 hours. Last I recall. (Probable max precip)
  6. Plenty heavy rain in Mitchellville, 10:00 am. (plenty of runoff too)
  7. Ended October with 4.21" rainfall. Max hi 85; min low 31.
  8. Emptied 0.31 las night and have 0.87 in there now, so about consistent with others, (except Prince Frederick, but no surprise there). 49f ovrst dzl currently
  9. My morning low was 42f. But, might get lower before midnight. Currently 43/41. (And the air feels like that DP might drop. ) Very nice day here anyway.
  10. Max DP was 74. Temp 85. T-storm landed 0.70" Current 71/71 (Yea, I'm sorta showing off my humidity, but know it's nothing to be proud of.) Can tell Daily Lurker is out of town, or he would have commented on that lightning crack earlier.
  11. Strongest lighting of the summer here. Over .5" rain. Not much wind. Had one close hit 7:45. Snap then clap. Surprised power didn't fail.
  12. Current DP 70. Feeling pretty moist.
  13. Finished September with 5.05" rainfall Coldest morning was 56 on the 30th Hottest 93 on the 6th. Number of rain days? er, plenty. (didn't count)
  14. DCA: 11/23 BWI: 10/30 IAD: 10/29 RIC: 11/10 Tiebreaker: 2.7" rain at IAD
  15. Finally got one good hit of T&L here. Started raining about 7:20 but rather distant thunder. Not bad though. Eta: Eh, dog went and hid in the closet. Baby.
  16. I sure remember the 10/1079 snow, and it was the first game of the Orioles/Pirates World Series. Os dominated first 3 and then fell apart to lose in 7. The unhittable Kent Tekulve, Pirates reliever. (Not sure I spelled that right. Pronounced tee-KUL-vee) Remember the TV guy (possibly Vin Scully) joking that he looked outside in the morning and went downstairs to buy a paper to make sure this was really Baltimore.
  17. 0.57 so far today. 63f and moderate rain
  18. 0.12" today. Only about 2.2" for Sept. Might sound strange to those west of 95.
  19. His account came back on, but seems that either the whole thing was fake, or someone got hold of his account since it went off the air. Too bad. I was enjoying reading the posts. Reason I checked back was a tweet from MHX indicating there was not much damage on Ocracoke. Eta: forgot the link... https://mobile.twitter.com/JohnMoretti5
  20. I suppose the baby will be named Florence? (Florio if it's a boy) And, congratulations.
  21. Martin State reporting a DP of 81 on the hour. Mighty high for an airport location
  22. ...and the storm over me looks like a dot on radar.
  23. Got 2 claps of thunder about 5:45. Started moderate rain about 6:00 and has been raining in sunshine since then. Got 0.12 so far. 79/78.
