  1. Oh wow; is that your daughter's toy? She must be quite the kid.
  2. Overcast all day, held my hi temp to 76f. Great for Aug 20. Good for football practice.
  3. Hi today only 79 here. Significant morning clouds to hold back sun. No rain.
  4. Collect them up and we'll all be rich. (Sorry, couldn't resist)
  5. Almost no rain here today, but some nice looking sky this evening with the sun and distant storm clouds. Dr. Davis says the DP reached 81. Our site is cooler but we pay for it in humidity.
  6. Gusty Thunderstorm here in Bowie/Mitchellville about 15:30
  7. DP range today of 74-79; bleh. No rain here. Distant thunder afternoon.
  8. ^Not a good summer to have leaves in the drain ^ Anyway; Bowie has heavy rain with T&L right now. Second batch of the afternoon, but heavier than the first.
  9. Got 0.35" here in a garden variety T-storm about 17:00. (And...the electric gauge agreed exactly with the normal one.)
  10. 1.03" yesterday 12.65 since Saturday. A bit of actual sunshine slipping through here in Mitchellville
  11. 2.23" for today. 11.62 past 4 days. (Starting to taper off maybe?) Temp/DP seems to be stuck at 74/74 the past few days, with only a few ticks of variation.
  12. Another 1.05" since midnight. About 10.8 since Saturday a.m.
  13. 1.05 here today , mostly overnight. 3 day total 9.4 Humid as heck.
  14. Seem to have landed another 0.97 overnight. Power off and on too. But, on the drive to work, roads were not flooded, compared to yesterday afternoon/evening. My station up to about 9.3 since Sat morning.
  15. Yep, we're really taking a hit with this one. Up to 3.05 for this afternoon. Agree, haven't had flooding IMBY like this in a few years.
  16. Just got 2nd hard shot of today. Over 2.5 for today so far. Had 5.29 for yesterday+overnight for approaching 8" weekend Eta: power flickering too
  17. Over 5 here by now. Electric gauge got clogged and I cleared it a few hours ago, so I have to estimate until reading the normal gauge again tomorrow. (Which was 2.72 at 2100L) Even so, it's reading over 4.5, and Dr. Davis says it's raining cats and dogs.
  18. Getting a pretty rainy/windy T-storm with T&L here in PGCo.; even though it doesn't look like much on radar just now. Oops....power flicker as I type.
  19. Got 0.01 in the aftrn t-storm. My total for July. (Saw some CG, but otherwise seemed to pass north)
  20. Ah, the cutting edge of forecasting science. But, I'm all for it. About as good as anything else at this point. Keep it coming. This alleged nino has caught my eye too, along with some other things.
  21. Hi of 76 on the well-sited thermometer. Bit higher on the others. Rare July day.
  22. 67/58 now, but DP fell to 53 earlier. Big change. Yesterday's hi was 84 here. Significant cloudiness, but plenty humid
  23. Sad to see Jeb have to go, but happy to have a good son here. Jeb, you might have a chance for more severe wx there. Plus, I've found in TX you can see most wx patterns from such a distance. I haven't been to SA to Austin area, but have otherwise found Texans to be friendly and enjoyable to be with. 20 good years wih Dad, and now more good years with Mom. There are many who might envy you, even though it's hard now; real hard. Only had a sprinkle of rain here so far. Sun was out when I started, but clouds pushing back now.
