  1. Downpour finally hitting here in Mitchellville at 3:20. We were dry-slotting here for a while.
  2. Frost on several of the roofs this morning on the commute to work. DP was 37 at my place. Nice day.
  3. Seems like the wettest areas have hoisted a red flag warning. Wonder how seriously that will be taken. (I didn't bother to show the recent precip. I figure we're all tired of that)
  4. (Sorry I'm late) Season total 16.1" 21035 At least some snow in every month except Dec. (Nov-Mar)
  5. significant windshield scrape this morning Received 0.03" yesterday.
  6. March total 3.37" rainfall Low temp 17; hi 81
  7. Cherry buds at my (wooded) end of the street are a long way from flower. I'll guess 2 weeks. The cherries on Mitchellville Rd were full bloom last week. Different hybrid, but still. 72 for my high today
  8. At work, (Bowie) had about 3 hours of steady snow. Had to broom the slush off my car to drive home. By Pax river it was rain, ground wet. Wife said it never snowed here. 6 mile difference. (12 total) Lousy.
  9. Suddenly moderate snow in Mitchellville, PGCo. about 2:50L . was a bit dzl or flizzle earlier, but this is legit, and the first real snow we've had over on this side all day
  10. Dew point 7 this morning. Temp 20 when I left; might've gone a bit lower later.
  11. Was mod to hvy snow when I came out, then shut off quickly about 6:05. 1" measured Temps 31/30
  12. Hi temp was 57. Lower than modeled I think. Not much wind gust, but this is a poor location to measure gusts. No power issues either. (Kinda boring report, eh?)
  13. The fact that the heading of this thread was such irresistible click- bait for me says a lot about our recent winters. Fozz was smart to add the 1:30pm note. My pic of Mar 21 last year has snow because BGE closed the road for a wire down. Woulda been about 5:30pm
  14. Quite possible. Install 4 different units around your site and get 4 different readings. We have so much nice gadgetry these days that it's tempting to unpack the box and expect it to be right. But it's often not. I had a met friend in the old days who had , (at one time) 15 instrument shelters in his yard in Burtonsville. Learned a lot.
  15. Lunch break measure in Mitchellville = 2.5" total with sleet falling.
  16. SN+ in Mitchellville, PGCo (after a later start than most of ya'll. About 6:40 first flake.)
  17. Last field goal means even more (I bet)
  18. 8 for the Saturday low. Was a bit surprised, but I have an inch of snow cover now
  19. Snowfall has been steady here in PG Co for 2.5 hours+ Traffic on MD 193 moving steady and at speed.
  20. First flake about 6:40. By the time I reached Mitchellville, steady light snow. Temp around 21 Quite pretty.
