  1. Kinda noticed that this crowd isn't too well known for their sympathy. Few clouds popping by here.
  2. Verified here. Seem to have topped at 91f high DP 80. Now 86/79 under protection of overcast. Drove from Silver Spring...fell from about 97 to 88 in our driveway.
  3. Blue sky starting to peak thru now. Big rainer mostly.
  4. Just getting rain here now. Semi-Distant thunder. Looks like it's gonna squeak by just north of us in Annapolis. eta: and there's a smaller cell south of us....for those watching radar.
  5. 0.87 yesterday (Fri) Quite humid all day. AC went on yesterday
  6. Yes, we in the lowlands are blessed to have late-arriving summers. But it sounds like you just can't beat @wxdude64 in VA with temps and dews both in the 50s. Beautiful. Clear, blue sky here at mid morning.
  7. DP up to 66 this a.m. Temp about 68. Summer knocking on the door.
  8. Downright pleasant morning. DP 62 doesn't seem very low, but lately we've been rather humid in our area. Low temp 64f, clear sky.
  9. Very moist morning. Touch of drizzle. Overcast 68f.
  10. Strangely foggy down at the swamp this morning. South River heavy fog also, but lifting. Clear otherwise. DP 66
  11. Month of May total 7.19" at my station. Highest temp 84f, lowest 46.
  12. Not according to the LWX text (unless they've corrected it). Their map doesn't show it either
  13. My wife's Apple-gadget wx app also spit out a false tornado watch for AAco+ earlier.
  14. 0.61" at obs. 54f with light rain.
  15. 0.58" from today's storm. DP hit 76 sometime this afternoon. Welcome to summer.
  16. About 1.05" overnight. Around 2.10" for the 2 day total so far.
  17. Am I the only one who's had more ticks this year? Seems like I've been pulling off a tick-a-day for the past 10 days. About half have been Lone Star ticks. Most since 2019 maybe. I sprayed some Bifen/IT around certain areas, and thought it helped, but haven't had much chance to follow up.
  18. Was surprised to wake up to 0.64" . Light/Mod falling since then.
  19. Almost 0.10" overnight here.
  20. Total of 0.16"; half in a midday downpour, the rest in the evening. Very moist morning but almost nothing in the gauge (except pollen pods).
  21. 0.18" for today. Power flickered c.7:15p Moon peaking through now
  22. Recorded 0.12" yesterday to bring my April total to 3.13" Highest temp 84f; lowest 28
  23. For some reason I've been posting our cherry trees when they reach full blossom, and I think it was April 13 last year, and earlier the previous year. Anyway, they've struggled to reach full blossom this year; possibly due to a freeze followed by days of strong winds. Or, who knows? Took the pic on 4/16 but I think they kept coming until about 4/18 for peak.
  24. Low of 32 But no windshield scraping. Woodstove burning tho.
