  1. Great watching the Bruins play to a near full maskless house. .
  2. I'm still trying to get my cellphone that sunk in the lake to work again. It's long since been dried out. I took it all apart and broke the screen in the process. Nothing on the board looked shorted out or burnt, but when I plug it into charger nothing happens. I replaced the battery and still doesn't power on or anything. Anyone know if the screen has to be functional in order to power up? I thought I could at least plug into computer to access the drive but nada. Don't really want to buy another touch screen unless necessary. .
  3. Ooph, getting drunk on back porch alone listening to 80s hard rock .
  4. 0.08" early this a.m. Didn't have to water the plants thankfully
  5. Jfc, they are pushing unvaccinated people here to test themselves at least twice a week because " there are still 400,000 people who could get seriously ill or die". Meanwhile we're 60+% fully vaxed. .
  6. It's impressive how so much investigation and info can be obtained and put together in a piece like this.
  7. Biden is trying lots of ways to incentivize people
  8. been going to our PF early morning and there's maybe 15-20 people in there. Went yesterday, late morning and the place was packed like pre-covid crowded. A couple masks, but otherwise none. Felt comfortable but didn't stay long since getting onto some equip was too long of a wait.
  9. that doesn't look like good skiable snow.
  10. I kept thinking how annoying it was going to be when I wake up tomorrow morning with full sun and heading to work[emoji849] .

  14. Two questions: What's best way to prune this tree. Can't remember what it is, but can I just trim off the ends a foot or so? What kind of cloud is this? .
  15. Sitting at the bar in Naples. Packed. .
  16. Was in north Conway Lowes this morning. Surprised how many were wearing masks .
  17. Honestly, I really don't like putting chems on the lawn, but now that I know what's been causing this I want something fast acting. I am looking into milky spore as tuna had suggested for more long term control. .
  18. I never used grubex in the eight yrs we've lived here until this year. didn't know there is a difference between curative (contact) treatments vs preventative. I need curative at this point , but larvae will be soon transitioning to pupae than jap beetles which will lay eggs in late summer and start cycle over again. .
  19. Major breakthrough in the neverending lawn saga....grubs. I've checked for these many times before but it was long after the damage was done and I saw none. I started raking a small section with my dethatcher and turned up a bunch of these fawkers. I had put down grubex about 6 wks ago too. Going to spread more tomorrow, but not sure why first treatment didn't work. Is it too late to try again? I've got this huge sense of relief finally knowing what did all the damage over the years. I suspected grubs couple years ago but like I said, never saw them, so thought it might be chinch bugs. Please tell me it's not too late in season to whack them again. .
  20. Yep, not good for businesses anywhere this wknd .
