  1. It’s been a while, I think, since we’ve had a powdery snow like this. I was completely blinded a couple times by on coming vehicles, I forgot what that was like LOL
  2. Interesting. Lets throw another into the mix:
  3. They are running just a touch about average. Measured .2 on the board this morning
  4. The urge to do a yard cleanup becomes stronger each day. Absurd.
  5. Back in the days of yore we would get a “thaw” for maybe a few days but nothing this warm for weeks on end.
  6. A little squally line of showers moving through, overperformed a bit here but that's not saying much.
  7. Time to hoist the STFu flag again for me. After an OK December I hadn't really paid attention but I believe my seasonal total is at 10.2" (I can confirm at home). 12.1" from '15-'16 is my record low snowfall. This season has a fighting chance to set the new record IMO.
  8. After a long hard winter you hafta love these April mornings with birds chirping and the smells of spring in the air...
  9. A nice early May high of 67 today...65 currently.
  10. 20 days here as of yesterday, 21 now as its already 56 at 10:37am... I was down in Texas over the weekend and it was warmer here on Friday at least, and close another day or two.
  11. Just realized I had no lows in the teens either, low for the month was 20.
  12. Good morning. I have not had the opportunity to experience a horse drawn sleigh ride. I do know though that back in those days many towns had snow rollers that packed the snow down. Here’s a link that gives you more details: https://mwvvibe.com/white-mountain-snow-rollers/ I also recall learning during a visit to the Vermont Covered Bridge Museum in Bennington that during this period they would shovel snow into covered bridges. This served two purposes, it made for a better sleigh ride but more importantly it protect3d the floor boards of the bridge from ruts and damage done by the runners.
  13. I tried it once and quickly realized it wasn’t for me. I’m trying to remember how I got back into safari. I think I had to not use my shortcut but open safari and search the board out and sign into it again. Up to 23 here now.
  14. And Facebook needs a weenie reaction like on here
  15. Agreed, it's potent for sure. I'm out this morning, various trees and branches down. We kept power fortunately.
