  1. Perhaps, lets see what phase the MJO is in at the time and go from there.
  2. With better ratios we could definitely crack 50"...
  3. 1.4 for me this morning, tomorrow morning I should have some time to go over my seasonal numbers.
  4. Gardiner is a snow hole from what I know. I knew a guy who lived there a few years ago now who would constantly post pics of very little snow in his yard in comparison to others around the area.
  5. I used to love really windy days, not anymore so for me this day can’t get over quick enough.
  6. In the immortal words of Jean Pail Sartre “Au revoir gopher”
  7. It doesn’t matter what any of us root for, it’s gonna be what it's gonna be. I feel like we haven’t had a normal season in forever but it’s the extremes that help define the averages anyway. Last summer sucked with all the rain and humidity which in turn ruined the fall, it’s been a few years since what had decent color. Then the flip to the biggest storm of the season to date in the middle of November. The winter has been a nuisance more than anything. So yes, I would like a drier sunnier spring but no one cares what I would like. It’s St Patrick’s Season so we have that going for us, which is nice.
  8. Not gonna happen, ‘everyone’ has canceled snow for the rest of the season. ‘We’ are all rooting for warmth and baseball...I didn’t know people still watched baseball...
  9. Makes you wonder what people are thinking sometimes, doesn't it? A solid .3" ice on everything this morning. A coworker got her windshield cracked thanks to a piece of ice falling off of a tree along the road.
  10. 19 for the low here as well, 2.5” at my stake which we know gets logged at 3” again for today. Far from deep snow cover but better than nothing.
  11. Nice! Forecasted low was 15, only made it to 19 though, blah!
  12. Got out of the Dropkick Murphys concert in Poughkeepsie last night and was surprised to see the amount of snow there was at point but still 2” or less. By the time we got south of Milton there wasn’t even that much and it was only a coating at home. The classic eyeball measurement this morning is an inch tops here but I will measure in a bit. Meh.
  13. Soda Springs, CA, Caltrans reporting 40” of snow since 6am their time, a bit under 10 hours...
  14. Sneaky slick out there IMBY as a freezing rain shower come through earlier, the deck and driveway were rather slick.
  15. The shine of a large undisturbed snow filled field with a coating of ice on top is still impressive to me.
  16. 3.5” snow and sleet, .10 ice final
  17. Snow and sleet battling it out now but I know who is going to win
  18. Either amount could verify, all a matter of how warm and how quickly the upper levels get. Any way you slice it, it’s a nasty day.
