Mother Nature putting on one hell of a show down here tonight, gotta love the thunderstorms down here! The storms are up by Nags Head, no thunder down here yet.
Pretty decent flooding on Highway 12 down here, idiots driving too fast, case in point. The water was deep enough in spots that we couldn’t see any of the lines on the road.

Here in the park every few years or so the County rents a track hoe with an extended boom and dredges the Wallkill so that the water can reach the pump intake. I have no idea how much that costs.
Third time is the charm, right fellas?! Ahahahaha, that’s a long story but this time I’m doing it right. One of my sons is ordained and will marry us in a short quick ceremony and then it’s party time. Nothing fancy this go around, just a good time.
I always chuckle at the definitive statements made like “we roast second half of August” or “summers over”. If there’s one thing we learn following the weather it’s that no one knows anything for sure, just look at last winters disaster and then all the excuses for why winter wasn’t the best in years.
