  1. This isn't uncommon with heavier rainfall rates, how have the two compared in less tropical rains?
  2. The skies have ripped open here in Goshen, torrential downpour.
  3. KMGJ, just a couple miles north of me, picked up .19" yesterday in a passing storm, I got zilch.
  4. It rare that I don’t get below at least 70 for a low although this last week was one of those times. That said, while it was hot, I don’t believe there were any record highs set here.
  5. I must say though, after mocking the lack of rainfall totals there's been a heavy mist/light rain across parts of Orange County all morning which won't add up to inches of rain but certainly appears to be beneficial. It would be interesting to read a study on rainfall rates and the benefits to grasses and plants. What I'm getting at is this softer smaller drop rain is soaking in versus a 20 minutes deluge on rock hard ground with a lot of it running off.
  6. .33 two day total with light rain still falling, got crushed...at least the ground is a bit softer for the heavier rains expected later...oh wait, never mind.
  7. Yes, otherwise I would’ve died already. My getting destroyed moment was a mocking of weenies who always overstate the snowfall rates “getting plastered” “getting destroyed” when visibility is at 3 miles.
  8. The last time I recorded more than .25” was 6/21 when I received .41”. Since 6/21 I have a total .53”. We dry.
  9. Heavy heavy fireflies. Getting destroyed currently.
  10. One of the Euro runs posted earlier this week had me in a dry slot of only .30” or so and I figured at least that was something and better than nothing...I got less than a third of that...
  11. .03” yesterday, the grass under the trees didn’t even get wet.
  12. Did you try this yet? I'm curious how it worked out if you did.
  13. Finished off June with 3.08", which is 1.34" below average, my yard has dried out quite a bit in recent weeks.
  14. The dew point is already down to 48 here! Oh wait, never mind...
  15. In other news I see it’s going to be windy the next couple of days for a change...
