  1. They photo angle fit my agenda...LOL. If I took one of my south facing hill it would be dead grass. 5” at my stake this morning though but it wasn’t solid snow cover.
  2. All I need is .1 to crack 40” on the season, la la lock it up
  3. 4 will do not for the low here. Did I see ‘piper’ and ‘party’ posted in here recently...
  4. Nothing new at my house either, 6" at the stake though.
  5. Made to 8 here, 7 on the cheaper thermometer
  6. This seasons snowfall IMBY now stands at 39.9", which is to date 4.8" above the long term average. I just need 3.4" more to meet the long term seasonal average, and 7.4" to meet the shorter seasonal average since I moved here in 2005.
  7. Agree on the snow measurements and we all know that measurements get even more suspect in a snowfall like this in March. My 5.8” was on the board, with wildly various other measurements on the deck, cars, driveway, under a tree, etc.
  8. 5.8” here, melted to .55, that might be a bit suspect
  9. 34.1” seasonal goal now with the season al average to date of 34.6” here so .5” below average right now...
  10. Perhaps, lets see what phase the MJO is in at the time and go from there.
  11. With better ratios we could definitely crack 50"...
  12. 1.4 for me this morning, tomorrow morning I should have some time to go over my seasonal numbers.
  13. Gardiner is a snow hole from what I know. I knew a guy who lived there a few years ago now who would constantly post pics of very little snow in his yard in comparison to others around the area.
  14. I used to love really windy days, not anymore so for me this day can’t get over quick enough.
  15. In the immortal words of Jean Pail Sartre “Au revoir gopher”
  16. It doesn’t matter what any of us root for, it’s gonna be what it's gonna be. I feel like we haven’t had a normal season in forever but it’s the extremes that help define the averages anyway. Last summer sucked with all the rain and humidity which in turn ruined the fall, it’s been a few years since what had decent color. Then the flip to the biggest storm of the season to date in the middle of November. The winter has been a nuisance more than anything. So yes, I would like a drier sunnier spring but no one cares what I would like. It’s St Patrick’s Season so we have that going for us, which is nice.
  17. Not gonna happen, ‘everyone’ has canceled snow for the rest of the season. ‘We’ are all rooting for warmth and baseball...I didn’t know people still watched baseball...
  18. Makes you wonder what people are thinking sometimes, doesn't it? A solid .3" ice on everything this morning. A coworker got her windshield cracked thanks to a piece of ice falling off of a tree along the road.
  19. 19 for the low here as well, 2.5” at my stake which we know gets logged at 3” again for today. Far from deep snow cover but better than nothing.
