  1. Brothers and sisters, 'tis a glorious morn! I have to admit, the leaf drop over this way was not as bad as I thought it could be after the storm. Driving home yesterday I certainly saw spots that had that late summer worn out look that JC mentioned yesterday. This morning though, glad to see vibrancy making a comeback in the leaves. So if anyone is thinking of driving up here from further downstate, there's nothing to see here... for us locals, I'm liking what I'm seeing so far, some great sights out there this morning.
  2. 1.66” in the Stratus, a little less in the Davis, 1.57”, but I found a leaf in it and it might need to be fined tuned as the Davis is always less than the Stratus, will work on that after work.
  3. I was surprised at yours LOL. Just made sure there’s no leaves in the bucket but we are clear and good to go.
  4. .12 overnight to begin softening the ground, would like to see some more lights rains. Thanks to that rain, some heavy leaf drop from a couple of trees along the driveway.
  5. I have guards on the gutters that work well but I did have a clog of tiny maple seeds that worked in there and got stuck in the elbow, cleaned it out weeks ago, been waiting for a good test and this week out to bring it. The downside, as JC pointed out, will have some leave drop if we get into the heavy rains.
  6. Yeah, I had that thought as well, it would be nice if the rain held off a bit longer but it’s also needed.
  7. Some of the best color in years (not saying much considering how bad recent years have been) popping up around here, looks like fall again.
  8. There’s an extreme lack of coping skills in today’s society.
  9. You must get a good bit of sun in your yard, not enough sun in mine to get anything of value really anymore. Got down to 31 for a bit here this morning so who knows how it looks now.
  10. After my post, I had a feeling you were there, good for you. I kept looking to see if I could break down into the 30's but I just sat at 40 for a long time.
  11. Looks like 40 will do it for the low here, @Juliancolton what did you get down to? 34-35?
  12. Since 6/1: 11.08" My running average for 6/1-9/11: 15.35" So I'm only down 4.27" compared to my running average for that period, I have certainly seen it drier here.
  13. Damn! Feel better! The ribs will likely take a while
  14. You know just how close that was to my house...the view from the top of the hill here of that must have been fantastic.
