14.9" on the season now with 12.4" being the average to date, so still technically above normal here. That said, that's just numbers, as far as how it feels....winter went into hibernation right before Christmas.
If you’re considering this an event then the answer is no it won’t be since we already had a couple other small events that were all snow, at least I did, the squalls on 12/18 come to mind right off the bat.
I joke in the headline about where winter is but the Euro advertises some winter up here over the weekend. Will be interesting to see how that develops over the next few days.

Still a tiny trace of ice/sleet/snow at my stake but not enough to count for today so the latest streak of cover is now done IMBY. Still a fair amount of white in shaded areas though.
A nice little inversion up here this morning. Attached are the obs from KMGJ, at approx 360', and KSWF at approx 460', they are 7 or so miles away from each other but the 100' difference in elevation tells the story this morning.
