  1. MJ0812 doubt anyone gets snow with a storm track to our west which will bring strong S/SE winds and maritime air inland
  2. It's funny in today's times school would not even open on a day like this....
  3. 2018 (or 19) it stayed in the low 20's here all day. We are not seeing anything like that....
  4. Who could forget! I was living in Philly as a junior in HS-woke up to overcast but no snow....it was delayed they said...we all know what that means...
  5. Oaks and pear trees left here and some Norway maples
  6. You didn't get the late Feb 2023 slop storm (had 6 inches here)
  7. True-the storms of October have gone poof...I've had less than .25 of precip here since 10/28
  8. LOL and a non event for anyone west of the track (which is most people here)
  9. Yeah was too warm to even light a fire...crazy. Somehow I don't think that was a one off I'd bet we see something like that again....
  10. Why does it need to be cold on Thanskgiving? I'd rather see it warmer for watching HS football or taking a walk.
  11. Probably somewhat of a hang over of the 3 yr Nina...hopefully we see a change as we head deeper into winter...even a 15-16 type winter (3 weeks of winter) would work after last year's ratter.
  12. yeah no high wind events or big noreasters last few weeks....
  13. Leaves dropping this AM with the 2 nights of subfreezing weather. We're still about 50% on trees...
  14. Nice. Almost 2 yrs since my trip there-would love to go back some day-the time change was brutal combined with the winter darkness-my brain had no idea when it was time to be awake...
  15. That is true-we have not had a strong windy W or NW wind this fall at all.
  16. yep-that low overcast that the sun can no longer burn off. Boring stretch coming up...average temps give or take and no storms
  17. Yeah mums do well this time of year regardless...I have a display on my porch that usually is good until around Thanksgiving....
  18. Problem with that is that there is too little sunlight hours/strength of sun this time of year-so while the growing season might be extended, the plants tend to stop flowering or just look sad waiting for a "mercy kill" from a frost/freeze...
  19. yeah there are a bunch here still-I figured 2 nights of subfreezing would kill them off but not the ones with the nest under our vinyl siding
  20. just need some cold-if we get the usual December Nino +5 or higher forget it....
  21. yeah I noticed the yellowjacket nest in the siding of my house was quiet-guessing they all froze
